OasisQueen Posted October 4, 2022 Report Posted October 4, 2022 Are the cruise lines back to full capacity in 2022? Last October, we were on the Symphony and it was 40%capacity I believe. It was great (and weird). Jailman 1 Quote
USFFrank Posted October 5, 2022 Report Posted October 5, 2022 Yes. Most ships have been for awhile. Quote
smokeybandit Posted October 5, 2022 Report Posted October 5, 2022 Capacity on those summer 2021 cruises will never be beat, for better or for worse USFFrank, Pattycruise, CrimsonCruiser and 1 other 4 Quote
wordell1 Posted October 5, 2022 Report Posted October 5, 2022 Those of us who cruised during Covid were treated to half (or less) empty ships. It was really awesome but will likely never be repeated. teddy, Jailman, USFFrank and 1 other 3 1 Quote

Summer 2021 into January/February 2022, no problem on our cruises with lines, elevators, pool chairs and much more...and best of all...the usually happy to see us crew were almost giddy...applause rang out upon embarkation and numerous times around the ship. No doubt they were happy to see us coming back but we were also happy to see them too. CruiseGus, Pattycruise and Jailman 3 Quote
Ryan79 Posted October 5, 2022 Report Posted October 5, 2022 It’s been 100%+ for several months now. Them good ole days of 40% capacity are gone for good CruiseGus, USFFrank and CrimsonCruiser 1 2 Quote
Ampurp85 Posted October 5, 2022 Report Posted October 5, 2022 If you are sailing in Oct/early Nov, you might be lucky enough to get on a ship at slightly less than 100%. But ships have been at capacity for a while. This also means that the ship is as close to pre-pandemic as possible. Jailman 1 Quote
