I wish I could see the funnels retract and go  back up.

That, to me, is one of the coolest designs on the larger ships!

Same! I was hoping the second video would show it but alas.

Both angles trick the eyes, but it looks like there's plenty of clearance.

I'm sure there's enough.  PLENTY might be a stretch.  ?

Edit: Obviously there is enough!  ?

I was so enamored when I witnessed Anthem going under the Verrazano - I can’t wait for our Oasis sailing out of Cape Liberty next summer!

Is Oasis the only oasis-class ship that can fit through there? Was there something that they had to do during the amplification in order to do this?

I believe Harmony and Symphony were originally built with retractable funnels.  And yes, they added this during the amplification.

Oasis and Allure were built with retractable stacks required to clear the Great Belt bridge.  Once clear and at sea they added scrubbing equipment that made them no longer retractable because they thought it would never be needed again.  Never say never.

Oasis and Allure were built in Turku, Finland.

Harmony and Symphony were built at a different shipyard, in France.  No bridge to clear on the way to the sea.
