cruisellama
These accidents happen more often than you would think. (There was a wave back in '18 or '19) Weather conditions change very fast and some of the float plane pilots just don't have the hours. smokeybandit
We did a float plane tour in 2002 or so when in Alaska. The places we went were gorgeous. The plane flight was awful due to the natural air disturbances there. PPPJJ-GCVAB
twangster
I noticed this week that another sister brand to HAL wasn't offering plane excursions in Ketchikan. Terrible way to restart tourism in the region. Will have to wait to see what was involved with this crash. WAAAYTOOO
Jill
Oh that’s awful. I’m spooked now. We were planning a float plane through the fjords. My husband is a pilot but I’m no fan of small planes. I’ll pick something else for us to do.

smokeybandit
Due to weather, they still haven't been able to get to the wreck site to recover the wreckage and begin their investigation WAAAYTOOO
