Water slides!  It's the only ship that has either of these two slides.

Check out this live blog from March 1st, right after the refresh.

Love Navigator.  They did a really good job with the Royal Amplified upgrades.

@twangster was the Helipad still open during sail away like some of the older ships?

@twangster, do you have a mirrorless camera?

Yes.  Two technically, plus my phone (no smoke or mirrors in my phone).

Do you like your pictures? Here I go again buying more photography equipment.

Yes.  Mirrorless vs DLSR - Mirrorless is smaller and lighter.  Advances in sensor technology means very good low light performance.  Lens stabilization plus in-body sensor stabilization means I can take shots at very low shutter speeds I could never do before, as slow as 1/2 second exposure without a tripod.  That opens up a lot of creativity.  For travel photography that is huge.  Mirrorless can have very fast capture rates, like 10 to 15 frames per second or more, great for shooting figure skaters, whales or Eagles in flight.  You end up with thousands of shots to go through but you can capture a near perfect moment in time photo.

Mirrorless bodies benefit the most from native lens designed for mirrorless.  For me that meant dumping several full frame Nikkor lenses and buying all new lenses but I was able to sell many of them in the used market to minimize that hit.

I will be on Navigator in 10 days.  I am looking forward to the new waterslides, new pool area, El Loca Fresh and Hooked Seafood Restaurant.  I was on Mariner in August and they did a great job on the refurb.

I'll be getting off on the 12th as you are getting on! We'll try to keep her in one piece for y'all! Enjoy your trip!
