Cruisegrandma
How long after the staterooms are open, will our suitcases be delivered? I purchased the BOGO dining plan and will want time to get dressed for the specialty restaurant our first night.
mom2mybugs
I have always had my luggage by 4 on my cruises, but one of my kids suitcases took until we were just about going to dinner. It just all depends. If it is important you change, I should suggest packing your dinner outfit in your carry on just in case. Most of the time we got it by 3 PM although it can arrive until 7 -8 pm , I always tip the porters when I handle the suitcase over maybe it help some how (I guess they can arrange them in a way it will be delivered earlier). Anyway , make sure you are not packing any problematic items (bottles, long electric cords , etc ...) which might require you to fetch the suitcase from the special office. By the way , many time I found my suitcase quite far from my stateroom , so its always good to look around
ellcee
It's usually there by mid afternoon but you're safer packing a carry on with the clothes you want to wear that night with you. Worst case scenario, you're fine to wear whatever you have the first night. Bob_KY

KLA
I've only seen someone in our group have their luggage delivered after dinner in the MDR once... but it does happen.

The one time it happened to us it was because my wife packed bottled water in the suitcase so it was being held in the naughty room. KJ1231
on our last cruise we spotted the location where all the luggage for our deck was - doors were open so while we had most of the luggage outside our cabin doors, there were a couple pieces in that area and we were able to snag them. BUT - would not count on that if you really need something.
