  1. It's 107 days out and I can finally access entertainment! So exciting! Does anyone know if I change my mind, is it easy to cancel and then reschedule? I waited so long and don't want to mess it up! Thanks!
  2. Just wanted to let everyone know that just TODAY I was able to reserve our Thermal Suite Couple Pass on the cruise planner for our July 2019 Alaska cruise on Radiance! Haven't seen that before.
  3. We made our reservations last night, and started looking at the cruise planner, deciding what things we would like to purchase for the cruise. I was looking at the Voom basic (no streaming) package for 1 device yesterday and it said 11.99...but today it says 14.99. Why did the price go up overnight?? Do these packages and things go on and off of 'sales'...should i just watch them for a while and buy when they are 'on sale' ?? I am confused...
  4. Check your Cruise Planner Spring into Saving up to 30% sale Got Thrill Waterpark Cabana And Full Day Pass for $471 for my Symphony in October
  5. I was checking the cruise planner for our Alaska Southbound 2019 July sailing. Up until yesterday, the refreshment package was $18. Today it is $26. I had reserved it at the $18/day rate (so yes, purchase when you can afford to), but now I'm wondering about the Black Friday "sales". Are they going to put it on "sale" back to the $18/day price or will they be honorable and really put it on sale?
  6. Just wanted to report that I just cancelled and rebooked Voom Surf & Stream for 3 Devices for our July 19th, 2019 Radiance of the Seas Alaska Southbound. The price dropped from $226.66 to $202.93. May not seem like much, except now that's another two drinks, or. . . It really does pay to keep checking the cruise planner and the fare of your cruise. By checking both (about every other day), I have been able to avail our family to upgrading our stateroom (started with a JS and with fare reductions over the last two qtrs, have upgraded to a GS and then to an OS, all at the same price as what we originally booked the JS, YESSSSS!!!). Have saved money on the Voom just by checking the cruise planner.
  7. This is a question I always see on this board..."How early does ____ open for booking?" Today I logged into my CP and saw that everything, except entertainment, is open for my March 2019 cruise on Harmony. That is a whole 283 days out! And dining was actually out before at 328 days out! On the Harmony FB group, some are reporting that their packages are now open for June 2019 sailings. So it just goes to show again that there is no rhyme or reason to it.
  8. I booked my first RC cruise today! I entered the information to log into the cruise planner. I have 2 questions right now. . 1) I don't create a login like a user name and password? I have to always log in using my reservation number? (I figured this one out! ) 2) I was looking at drink packages to see what that pricing as like. It is not available and says to try onboard the ship. Is that normal? TIA!
  9. Hi Guys, is there any way to get a breakdown of where OBC came from? I have applied for a few different offers with OBC and I would like to know which was given so I can make sure they gave me the right amount?
  10. I just checked my Cruise Planner for my March 31, 2018 sailing on Freedom. No new discounts for any of my activities apart from the Dragon's Breath zip line, which is down to $79 ($4/ticket less than the best I'd found to date); in fact, the Dolphin Push, Pull, & Swim excursion on St. Kitts has gone up $15 from the best price I found. Everything else is the same as the last sale where I had rebooked all of my excursions and drink packages. I'm assuming the zip line price will stay as-is through the weekend; going to hold off rebooking it (and saving another $12) until it's business hours for the call center; that activity, for whatever reason, has always given me trouble when I try and buy it online, so I want to know I can fall back on a customer service rep if need be.
  11. Matt announced on the blog today that Royal is having a repeat of the earlier Sip, Tour, and Save sale on Cruise Planner purchases. If you already did the cancel and rebook dance with the last sale, do not assume there is nothing new to see here! Re-check all of your purchases and make absolutely sure! I discovered that the Dolphin Push, Pull, and Swim on St. Kitts had dropped another $15 per person to $119, having just rebooked it on the last promo for $134 each (and original purchase price of $149 each). I canceled and rebooked yet again, even though I just did this dance a week (two?) ago. That's another $60 saved for taking five minutes to through and re-check everything.
  12. Hi - Will the cruise planner give me an opportunity to schedule and pre-pay for smaller classes and activities prior to sailing? The big shows and flow rider items were recently released for my March Oasis cruise, but wine tastings, sushi class, guacamole demonstration, etc. were not available. We are new to RC and really appreciate having access to the old cruise compasses - Thank you!
  13. Hello everyone! I'm now just 1 week away from my first cruise on Liberty! We haven't decided whether we're going to get a photo package. Thanks to @Matt and several others for your insights on the value of the packages during yesterday's Facebook Live broadcast. This morning, I tried to log into the Cruise Planner to find out when the booking deadline is. I couldn't remember whether the deadline is 2 or 3 days in advance of the sailing. Of course, the RC website is down. I called the number on the placeholder page to which I was redirected. The gentleman with whom I spoke said I should wait until noon EDT today to try the site again. RC expects the site to be back up by then. Ok fine, I can wait a few hours... or log onto these boards to ask. So here I am! Does anyone know what the deadline might be? TIA! Katie
  14. In case you didn't see it on the blog, there's a new sale going on: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2017/06/17/spotted-royal-caribbean-offering-30-pre-cruise-purchases-cruise-planner
  15. I'm having trouble accessing the cruise planer page. Actually, I can't get there at all. After I login into My Cruise, I try to access the cruise planner page i get this message: We're sorry, but we are unable to retrieve your booking information at this time. For assistance, please call 866-562-7625 So I called them but there not really helping. Was told that "there working on that issue" ?!? As far as I'm concerned, they have been working on it for at least a month. I know I'm not the only one, facebook is full of other people who can't access that page. Any idea ? Thanks in advance
  16. I searched the site for anything on the above, but I'm coming up empty. It's frustrating that I can log in to My Cruises, go to my itinerary, and see the Cruise Planner tool, but not actually use it. Especially when the tool initially loads with a bunch of little clickable panels for Voom internet, drink packages, etc. But clicking any of those panels just shows a message that I'm trying to purchase something too far in advance of my cruise or too close. I do realize that with my cruise over a year away, I may well have to wait until I'm in some "valid time window" to use the tool. But couldn't they just let me know that right on the opening page? And give me some indication of when that valid window starts? As Matt and others have noted, it will let me spread out the total cost of my cruise over all those months. But only if it actually becomes usable a reasonable amount of time before my cruise! What I'd like to do is buy each of the following on separate months / billing cycles: internet, refreshment drink packages, deluxe drink package (me only), St. Kitts excursion, St. Maarten excursions (family may well split up that day for separate things), Labadee purchases (zip line, alpine coaster, maybe a watertop cabana?), pre-paid gratuities, possible photo package. That's 8 items, combined with monthly payments toward the cruise, so I'd certainly hope that the Cruise Planner becomes available at least that far in advance of my cruise date (more if the planner locks out a month or more ahead of departure). Related question -- My kids are in their own cabin and show up in My Cruises as a second itinerary. When I'm reserving / buying these things on Cruise Planner, do I have to do one set of purchases on the itinerary for my wife and me, and a separate set of purchases on the second itinerary? Or does the Cruise Planner have the smarts to know that both of them belong to me and consolidate it all into one planning tool?
  17. I wanted to let you all know that I discovered that Royal is offering 30% off spa services prebooked through the Cruise Planner. This just popped up for my January Allure cruise and shows up just like the one that appears for Voom and the previous sale on the drink packages. Thus, if you're into spa services, this might be a good way to save some money by prebooking now.
