Oops. I may have done that this week. ?

No. Only for dinner.

Casual for breakfast and lunch. Smart casual for dinner. No different than MDR or specialty. However, I have seen everything from wet bathing suits (they were thankfully asked to leave) to tuxedos and formal wear.

New England/Canada Cruise - Few questions.
Lovetocruise2002 replied to SeanAndShelley's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
We're doing these ports on a 9 night in July. We are doing both those excursions and we booked it through Royal. After much research and help from many here, for Bar Harbor, we booked the Ultimate Island Experience. We picked this one because it's a smaller group and it still leaves us time in the afternoon to explore on our own. For Halifax, we booked "Halifax Highlights and Peggy's Cove". Again we liked this one since it would take us out to Peggy's Cove but it's only half a day and that gives us time in downtown Halifax, which we want. -

@Fuzzywuzzy it was because of your picture that you posted a few months ago that I booked that excursion! What a view! -
Prices for that sailing were ridiculously low when we booked it upon release back in December. Not sure what it's at now...

Coastal Kitchen - Why?
Lovetocruise2002 replied to whenismynextcruise's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
The correct answer here is no. CK is exclusively for suite guests/pinnacle only. YMMV depending on the CK host/manager. The correct answer here is also, you cannot. However, you might have a fantastic server who can make that happen if you ask. -
It's Oasis 03/13/2022. That sailing is going to be epic! We are calling it #majorstarclasstakeover. ?
-
I was answering hypothetically lol. You know I would never personally cruise in an inside cabin! I did it once, never again.

If you have the kids with you, I would probably agree with others and stick with Oasis. That ship is perfect for families and there is never a lack of things to do, from entertainment choices to activities for teens, it's all there. In addition, Coco Cay is likely going to be more of a hit with the teens. We are actually doing our first Canada/NE sailing on Adventure this July. It's a 9 night. When we asked our girls (11&13) about it last year, they said go without them. And this is from kids who love cruising. Their first response was that it would be boring ports. The second was that they would rather sail Oasis class. Are they spoiled? Yes. But those are honest tween/teen feelings too.

You should have offered Patron. ? Unless you are dealing with @Matt, he is hard to sway...lol -
I am usually in total agreement with @WAAAYTOOO but this is where we disagree. IMO, the food quality in CK rivals specialty if not better in some cases.
-
Assuming that time off is not a factor, I would take 2 cruises in inside cabins per year. More C&A points.

I am already counting the calories now so I can make room for the millions of calories that I am going to consume in a few weeks! ?
