Man that really sucks. I’m thinking if you returned to the casino they would have corrected the payout. Cameras everywhere to review the situation. I only say this because I visited a casino two weeks ago and won a hand and questioned the payout with the dealer. He said it was correct so I dropped it. I later returned to the same table to play again and the pit boss came over and gave me the correct payout. I don’t spend much time in a casino so maybe this situation was rare that they made it right.

No price change for June Harmony. Not expecting it either since it’s peak season on a newer ship. This cruise shot up in price steadily since we booked right after it was released. So cabins must have filled fast and I assume the same with the optional packages. No need to offer any promotions to boost revenue.

Been doing a lot of mock bookings on all Oasis class ships. Just not seeing the Diamond balcony discount amounting to anything. Definitely nothing to get me to consider changing from our typical interior cabin. Just not there, at least for my math

I agree about the balcony discounts. If I could get a balcony for close to the same as an interior or OV then I’ll change my opinion of C&A because that is significant.

Can’t argue with @twangster on the benefits of reaching Diamond. For us- Biggest benefit to me seemed to be the hour hour drinks. I couldn’t wait to get to Diamond for the 3 happy hours drinks because I hoped it would eliminate buying the drink packages. As I looked deeper, it’s a limited menu. Not much on there appeals to my wife. Just my luck! She prefers the practically unlimited options of the drink package. So I’m probably still buying two drink packages. ? The free photos are a nice perk. No value in the Diamond lounge or internet for us. Wasn’t unaware of the entertainment tour but that sounds like it might be interesting. So I guess it depends on how you cruise. Twangster mentions some nice features of reaching Diamond.

I haven’t seen any discounts that made me change the cabin(interior) that I normally pick as I climbed to Diamond level C&A. Maybe I’m missing something but in my experience and how I sail, moving up the ladder is more hyperbole than anything. Only mentioning because I hope your expectations are met as you move up. I got caught up in the climb, too, only to find that we haven’t realized any significant benefits in getting to diamond. Just my experience.

June Harmony sailing here. Fingers crossed. I’m hoping that since purchases are available for some dates on Perfect Day in the cruise planner, they won’t want to refund anything due to things not being completed. A Serious reach on my part, I’m thinking.

After checking My June 2019 Harmony sailing just now, I see the DBP is up to $56. Was steady at $52, even on Black Friday. Really thinking about not booking for this sailing. We are Diamond now(3 happy hour drinks) and 4 port days, I’m not sure the value is there for us anymore. Even though one port day is CoCoCay. Although my DW wants to prepurchase and move on. Maybe that makes sense.

My 6-16-19 Harmony sailing deluxe bev remains unchanged @ $52/day. Still hoping something happens for Black Friday. Fingers crossed

I went to Junkanoo Beach(free) and found it littered with trash. The reviews were mixed so I should’ve expected it but surprised how bad it was. We rented loungers and they were in bad shape. We went prob 50 yards past the Tiki Bar. I wonder if that was kept nicer. All I know is that if I ever go back to Nassau, I’ll pay to have a better experience. It was a pretty depressing experience to see such a potentially beautiful place not cared for.

Loved it! I have never considered an Alaskan cruise. I figured that would be a bit later in life. We love chasing the sun and beautiful water of the Caribbean. But after reading this I’m going to start investigating Alaska! It doesn’t hurt that you can now get a nonstop flight form Pittsburgh to Seattle. Thanks for potentially opening up our cruising options.

We visited Junkanoo beach in June. I found it litter filled. Went about 50 yards past the tiki bar. Service and drink selection was bad that far away from the tiki bar service area. But litter was everywhere. Maybe we were too far down the beach but there was very little vendors selling. I like to think I don’t need much for a beach day but This was a big disappointment. I will stay on the ship or pay for an beach excursion if we ever cruise there again.

June 16, 2019 Harmony. First cruise as a Diamond C&A!

I feel awful for you and I hope that somehow, someway this is made right by you by RC. Royal Caribbean needs to fix this and their dumb policy

Before my daughter hit school age, we were able to take advantage of off peak prices. Now we are forced to go peak season- June -August. It definitely changes the costs of cruising. And we enjoy the newer, bigger ships so that doesn’t help with the costs. Luckily, we are fortunate to be able to still go but definitely stings a bit.
