  1. The problem you may have is that the cups are not just one specific height and shape. One "standard" RC tumbler I have is about 3 to 3-1/2 inches in diameter. Around this time of year and well into January, they may also give you a somewhat "Coke Bottle" shaped tumbler with the Coca-Cola Santa on it that is considerably wider. (I think they give these out until the onboard stock is exhausted. We've been given these on a late January cruise.)
  2. Me, if I was reading this "RC Next Cruise" email. Is "NextCruise" strictly an onboard service? I've never seen/heard new cruise planning referred to "NextCruise" outside of the actual cruise ships.
  3. We've had two post-cruise excursions in San Juan. The first was an Old San Juan tour that was interesting, but, a seemed a bit disorganized. Could have been done better. It may have been better to get over there on our own to better explore it. FYI: Visiting ships dock on the Old San Juan side while Embarking/Disembarking ships dock at the terminal across the bay. The second was a visit to the El Yunque National Forest that was a very good tour. The walk up the Yahaku Tower provides awesome views over the forest and all the way down to Fortuna Beach. Some beautiful waterfalls. A stop along a rocky river was also fun as our guide brought day old bread from a local bakery for everyone to feed the fish. A lunch stop at La Muralla on the way back down was delicious. (Not included in the tour cost, but very reasonable).
  4. You've had way too much plastic surgery. Your complexion is cartoonish! I wonder how many picture requests Mario gets on each cruise. He an RC celebrity!
  5. I noticed your app screenshot on the other post was blank in the Deck/Stateroom section. Is this a Guarantee (GTY) reservation? If so, I wonder if that is what delaying your check-in availability.
  6. Without a Playmakers, your best bets will be the Casino Bar and possibly poolside. We've cruised regularly during playoff season and I've seen the games broadcast in both of those locations.
  7. If you download the Royal Caribbean app, your reservation should show when check-in begins. Plus, you'll most likely want the app to use onboard anyhow.
  8. Question about getting the correct quote through Allianz. What should I enter for the "Country of Destination"? Is it still the US because our flights are domestic and the cruise Departs/Returns to the USA?
  9. It's a self-adhesive patch you can place over corns, callouses, or "friction areas" on your feet that can help prevent blisters. I used this in the military on my heels and the balls of my feet when we had to do road marches.
  10. I agree with @SpeedNoodles, there's no real sense in jeopardizing an entire vacation over one of the wave jets you've reserved. If you are unable to resolve this online or over the phone before the cruise, you can probably get the issue resolved onboard at the Shore Excursions desk. (Maybe even Guest Services?)

  12. Frankly, I find it very odd that only two time slots are available to book. Excursions are usually the items that have only 1-2 time slots, so this may be a mistake. (Especially 170 days out.) We just booked Wonderland last week (72 days out) and each night has 12-14 times slots. (See below.) My guess is that it is just not available for reservations yet, so keep an eye out for it in the Cruise Planner.
  13. You are not alone, that both looks and sounds way too greasy. Fried Mozzarella sticks are overrated IMO.
  14. We went to Coral World Ocean Park on our own in January 2020. They were not a excursion listed by Royal Caribbean at that time either, so it's been a good while since they were partnered with them. We simply bought the tickets on line at their web site. https://coralworldvi.com/ It was a rather fun time visiting the park. To get there, we rented a car for the day from a rental office near the port that offered transportation to and from the port. Driving an American left-hand drive car on the USVI roadways where they drive in the left lanes, took some serious getting used to!
  15. Has anyone else noticed any prices in the cruise planner going up DURING this sale? On Tuesday, one of our excursions had a price drop of $31 per person, so I did a cancel/re-book. (30% off on board price) On Wednesday, that same excursion went back up by $23 per person. (15% off on board price) Was the price I snagged it at a mistake that was quickly (for RC's IT, that is) corrected?
  16. The page was still "Down for Maintenance" this morning. The page now does a redirect to an advertisement for RC and a link to the RC homepage.
  17. Any of the admins or the OP can change the title. I was going to suggest that this please be done.
  18. I didn't see this posted anywhere on the boards and I thought this would be helpful with all the previous discussion of expiration dates on the home COVID tests. I know some people were getting kits with extended expiration dates that were too soon to be valid for their cruise dates. Both the Optum Royal Caribbean store front and the Emed web site now have expiration date guidance listed for the Abbott BinaxNOW tests. (Sorry if this had already been mentioned elsewhere)
  19. Yeah, this is a bit disappointing. Our January cruise has drink packages at $4 more PP/PD than I already paid. Our August Alaska cruise has it at $2 more PP/PD than it was two weeks ago, so I'm gonna wait it out on that. I did save a total of $70 by re-booking two excursions, but, that's it. Oh, I almost forgot @Pooch, I TOLD YOU SO!
  20. Yes, you will test positive for a new variant called "COVID Colada"!!! If you're looking for a more serious answer, I would go with what @JeffB said.
  21. The OP specifically said the luggage was lost by the airline. There was no mention of travel insurance either.
  22. Welcome to the boards. You are going to find a lot of helpful information and advise on this forum. We went to all of your ports on a cruise out of Tampa about 5 years ago, Roatan, Honduras-We went on a multiple leg zip-line excursion through the jungles that was SO MUCH fun. Costa Maya-There are several great things to do here. We booked an excursion that took us to a to a local resort to do some snorkeling followed by about 3 hours of beach time with an open bar included. Music was a bit loud but we really enjoyed ourselves. Lunch was not included, but, it was some very good food that was well worth the money. Cozumel-Again, MANY great things to do here. We booked a Jeep adventure in which a small convoy of us drove across the island to off-road to a small Mayan ruin on the beach that was used to send signals to tribesmen out fishing so they could find their way home. Another short off-road drive took us to a private beach for some relaxation and a freshly prepared taco/fajita lunch that was fantastic. A "bathroom break" stop on the way back just happened to be at a local tequila distillery being VERY generous with the samples. (Yeah, this was a little tourist trappy, but the tequila was so good, I had to bring a bottle back!) My #1 tip (and many other peoples, too) is to purchase the things you want ahead of time. Buying items like Drink Packages, Dining, Excursions, etc. will be a good deal less money that purchasing them on board.
  23. When I first read your response I thought it said… I probably had 5 each day of my 4 night cruise!!! Wait, that's not normal?
