  1. The top date is the expiration date noted with an hourglass icon. The bottom date is the manufacture date noted with a factory icon.
  2. FINALLY! An on board auction I would actually attend for the entertainment value alone!
  3. You can absolutely bring your own bottle and fill it as @AshleyDillo says. Saw this a good deal a couple weeks ago. One other option if you don't want to bring bottles is to get to be pretty good at trivia and win a couple new bottles while on board!
  4. A slightly cheaper option at Blue Lagoon is the Sea Lion Encounter. We just did this on January 30th and it was a blast! Excursions to Blue Lagoon also include beach time and the kids will also get a chance to see the dolphins. Also, you may be able to book the dolphin or sea lion encounters directly through Blue Lagoon's website at a lower price.
  5. Tables right now seem to be limited to the number of guests in your traveling party. As a party of two, we had out own table. Not far from us was a party of about 10 at a large round table that were traveling together. You should have no trouble having the square/rectangular tables connected for a group of 12.
  6. Paper straws. The onboard Starbucks on Odyssey had their trademark green plastic straws when we cruised late last month.
  7. I do intend to pay them. I just don't think it's a good look for the company to have to do this, especially with all the ordering and shipping issues that have been discussed at length on this blog alone.
  8. Ok, this is an email I did not expect to receive. eMed sent me my six pack of tests as expected, but, due to an "unforeseen lapse" in their payment system, my payment was not processed. At first, I thought this was a scam, but sure enough, my CC had not been charged for the tests. It's really odd to see a company come back, hat in hand, asking for the money they were supposed to collect after already delivering the product.
  9. Not sure about Oasis, but I suspect this is the case as signs as our balcony door on Odyssey stated that the balcony door must be closed for the AC to be on.
  10. Thank you. FYI: I know by being on Odyssey a little over a week ago that there are some additional liquors now that are not listed here. (i.e. Bulleit Bourbon, Monkey Shoulder Scotch, etc.) Sorry everyone about the typos you find in my Word Doc!
  11. It took a little searching, but I do believe I found it. It was in a post back in early 2018, but the PDF link doesn't work anymore. I happened to have had a copy of it in my sent email folder. I also copied all of this into a easier to read word doc so my wife could highlight what she wanted to try. Cruise News Harmony 2019 Drinking.pdf RC DRINKS.docx
  12. We were just on Odyssey from January 29-February 6. The Book in Two70 was the only show that required a reservation. The Royal Theater shows (Showgirl, The Effectors, Dance/Music/Comedy) were "first come, first served" and usually had two showings. This probably has to do with the limited seating in Two70 which has become even more limited by "Unavailable" seats for social distancing. As @twangstersaid, iFly and NorthStar have complimentary times available on port days with "pay for" options on sea days. FYI: Look into booking the "Swashbuckler" Virtual Reality experience at Zone Zero in the SeaPlex! $18pp and worth every penny! Slots book up fast and become periodically available throughout the cruise.
  13. The date of the second dose (or your first J&J dose) is what matters to be considered "fully vaccinated". Right now, boosters are just extra icing on your "vax cake"!
  14. This paragraph is not phrased very clearly. You must be at least 14 days past the second dose of a Pfizer/Moderna vaccine OR 14 days past the single dose J&J vaccine.
  15. Was just on Odyssey last week and the Solarium Bistro was closed to guests for the duration of the cruise. (Was also not listed on the app) We did pass through the Solarium one evening and saw that the lights were on and several crew members were inside having dinner, so I suspect that they are currently using it as an additional crew galley to further encourage social distancing among the crew during their meals/off time. Some "Table Reserved for Social Distancing" signs were also visible on the tables.
  16. Go for it! We wore shorts in the Odyssey MDR 3 or 4 times last week.
  17. These are what I had just last week on Odyssey and I enjoyed them all very much. Appetizers: The Bird's Nest & Crispy Crab Cones Main Course: The Rib “I” Luscious Short Rib Dessert: "The World" (a dark chocolate ball filled with ice cream and mousse, the ball is then melted by drizzling hot caramel over it at your table. Delicious!)
  18. Yes. With our Royal Up acceptance two weeks ago, Set Sail passes were available almost right away. i asked RC via Twitter about new documents and they said new docs (with luggage tags) would be available within 48 hours. (It only took 7 hours)
  19. Port (left) side. The ships actually face away from Coco Cay while docked, so neither side will have direct views of the island, but the starboard side will provide some view of the island.
  20. You should be able to use the chat feature on the Royal Caribbean app without buying a Wi-Fi package for $1.99 per person/per day.
  21. We cruised on Navigator during the week of Thanksgiving 2009. The Christmas tree and other decorations "appeared" in the promenade on Wednesday morning.
  22. I received my Royal Up offer email at 38 days prior to our sailing I received an email that my offer was accepted 14 days before our sailing. I was rather surprised since so many have posted in the past about getting bids accepted with 3 days or less until sailing.
  23. I don't know, I see a lot of people on the pool deck hiding their glasses and saying "be cool" when they see the Coast Guard cruising by.
