  1. I think they made a new stateroom category: Oceanview Lifeboat!
  2. I've only had Coco Locos onboard and at Ladabee. I've never been on a Coco Cay itinerary yet!
  3. Yes, those drinks are still available. One other very popular frozen cocktail is the Coco Loco. Some bars can also make Mudslides (Vodka, Baileys, Kahlua, Ice cream)
  4. In the Cruise Planner, you should be able to view your purchases using the "Order History" option by clicking on your initials in the top right corner.
  5. This is exactly why drinks from the Bionic Bars aren't all that great!
  6. Welcome to the boards. This is being discussed on another thread. My guess is that the cruise line may have changed their terminology recently to avoid confusion. Just a couple days ago, my "pending" bids became "submitted".
  7. My current Royal Up bids have also changed from "Pending" to "Submitted". I'm wondering if they've changed the terminology to avoid issues with guests thinking their bids are being accepted when they have not. The word "Pending" may tend to imply that your bid is accepted and you're waiting for a cabin assignment while "Submitted" would only imply that you have bid on an upgrade.
  8. Welcome to the boards. For future reference, it is much better/easier to have complaints and problems resolved during the cruise than to try to gain resolution post-cruise. As stated above, your can use the Michael Bayley email address listed above, but it may take some time to get a response.
  9. NOT ALLOWED. The ships have both US and European outlets.
  10. CONGRATS! FYI: When we won our Royal Up bid for Odyssey back in January, I reached out to RC on Twitter to ask about new Cruise Docs/Luggage Tags/Set Sail Passes. The representative let me know that they should be available within 48 hours. (In actuality it only took about 6 hours)
  11. EXACTLY! After all, Alaska Airlines has ONLY been operating for 78 YEARS.
  12. You MUST have the physical card with you. In order to keep our paper vaccine cards safe from being damaged or lost, as well as knowing exactly where they are, I purchased these vaccine card/passport holders. https://www.amazon.com/Doulove-Passport-Vaccine-Holder-Leather/dp/B09BCT1M7K/ref=sr_1_5?crid=8HHA008VUT5&keywords=vaccine+card+passport+holder&qid=1658157116&sprefix=vaccine+card+pa%2Caps%2C90&sr=8-5
  13. Uhhhhhhhh.....What is in those bags? Well, they are on the beach, so it's obviously dried seaweed for recipes.
  14. I think what you are looking for can be found in this thread. (EDIT: Looks like @KristiZ beat me to the post by a minute. )
  15. From our personal experiences, Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica and taxi drivers in Nassau, Bahamas. (I don't need a ride to anywhere! I just got back from somewhere else on the island!) After being to these two ports, I found that vendors in St. Thomas and St. Kitts don't seem to be pushy at all!
  16. Ah, just wrap the car in lots of bubble wrap and you'll both be fine! LOL! So how much did your foot hurt from constantly hitting an invisible brake pedal on the passenger side? I actually envy those on this site that live within a reasonable driving distance of a port (or even several ports). I would LOVE to not have to fly every time we cruise. If we ever decide to cruise out of Baltimore again (9 hours) or Cape Liberty (10 hours), I'm definitely going to consider driving. But, like it's been said so many times before, don't chance flying in day of, ESPECIALLY right now with air travel being in such utter disarray.
  17. Oh, right! My mistake. I don't generally partake in Chambord. I'm a bourbon guy!
  18. Anything with Chambord blackberry liqueur. I don't remember it having a specific name, but a Schooner Bar bartender on Rhapsody (Adrian) made my wife a delicious cocktail that consisted of the following: Absolut Vanilla, Chambord, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, Cranberry Juice, and Strawberry Puree.
  19. I'm really sorry to hear this. My wife needs to eat gluten free (not Celiac, but extremely gluten sensitive) and has, thankfully, never had any issues with the MDR staff providing gluten free options and losing her next evening's order. I'm going to guess this might be a new/inexperienced staff issue, possibly combined with the current problems of ships being understaffed and/or overwhelmed by increased guest capacities. (Understandable, but, still not acceptable for anyone with severe food allergies, obviously.)
  20. Oh boy. A lot of red flags here that make me not believe the OP. The comedian only does "adult stuff" and was forced into doing a family show? Never seen a comic onboard that only does "adults only" shows. (Doesn't all booked talent "audition" for Nick Weir and/or his staff to be contracted? Surely, they would know what is expected of them before getting the job.) The bartender pulled out a "separate bottle" from under the bar after being tipped? If you only knew how many new, sealed bottles of liquor have been opened right in front of my eyes! What kind of prize do you really expect for winning a trivia game? It's ALWAYS been highlighters, key chains, pens, and recently the "bag in a bag" shopping bags. Nothing of great value, just mementos.
  21. Exactly what @smokeybandit said. It's not a disqualifier. Just be sure to bring all of your group's ORIGINAL vax cards to port. NO COPIES.
  22. I've never asked for double shots, so I don't know, but with just about every drink I've had poured for me, the bartender pours a full jigger over the glass and then continues to pour more liquor into the glass as the jigger is dumped in. I'd estimate that each drink I have ends up being about a shot and a half. Besides, do you really need each drink to be a double since you've already got unlimited drinks with the DBP?
  23. Just like @AshleyDillo said, book refundable when you're seeing a price and hotel you like, but keep checking back. I watched Ft Lauderdale hotel prices for several months before our January cruise and booked at about 4 months out. At two weeks before our cruise, the price came down by about $50, so I cancelled and rebooked. THEN a few days later the price came down ANOTHER $30 so I cancelled and rebooked again!
  24. I like the way you think!
