Best put. From A to Z. I say go for it. Most people dress up quite nicely. And go to several photo ops. We have gotten some awesome photos over the years.

We have done the coffee card in the past. Now we get the refreshment package which gives you premium coffees, bottled water, fresh o.j. soda, & Powerade. So much cheaper than buying 4 coffee cards. We would run out and buy 2 more on short cruises. And it pays for itself with everything you get especially when you get the pkg. on sale. We both go thru 6-8 bottles of water a day alone. Keeping hydrated on a cruise is so important. Unfortunately many do not. It is not a pleasant experience to go thru. Been there done that. Never again.

Sad it has taken all these years to come out. I personally have asked that question many times. Getting a state discount is a joke also. Or a senior discount or a disabled discount. And so on and so forth. To all who have served : THANK YOU.

Having lived in Orlando for 10 years and now moving back to Florida avoid I-4 at all costs. DEFINITELY take the 417 and get on the road by 7:30 a.m. Starbucks in Florida are like churches in Tennessee. There is one on every corner. The beauty of getting to the cruise terminal early is you are able to get a good parking place as the garage is all but empty from the passengers that just arrived that morning.

Their is a BOGO sale on the Deluxe drink package going on now. That e mail was received yesterday. ALWAYS purchase it before you board to get the best savings.

Weather, customs, traffic to airport, ship issues can all happen. Probably won`t. If the ship docks at 7 a.m . Noon would be the earliest advisable time to fly out. You might want to do carry off with your luggage and then you are first to get off the ship and won`t be waiting around for your number to be called. We do that all the time. It`s the only way to go.

Our 4 main reasons we book future cruises the first night on board are: Reduced Deposit, Cruise Price, Cabin Selection, and last the fact the appointment book for Next Cruise will fill up fast. Also if you get a good agent they will recommend reasons for a certain cruise, or cabin selection, ship, etc. The reduced deposit allows you to book several future cruises for that attractive $ 100.00 per person deposit. For the past 3 years the wife has already said again we are not booking any future cruises this next cruise. L.O.L. I can bet the farm we will be booking more cruises on our next cruise in Sept.

There is truly nothing more relaxing than sitting on the balcony for hours listening to the waves lap up against the ship. And we agree with JL Moran that going to the helipad to star gaze is so amazing and calming to ones mind and soul.

The key most important words: Signed, Notarized, and ORIGINAL Documents. You have plenty of time to get passport cards and we highly recommend them. With that said enjoy the cruise.

We switched a few years ago to Bonine, and it does not make you as drowsy as Dramamine does and works just as good. We have it with us but only use it when seas are rough. It seems the more you cruise the less you get motion sickness. At least for us anyways. Also not having an empty stomach and staying hydrated works very well.

We are fans of Samsonite and American Tourister as well. We have been buying soft side luggage for over 25 plus years now and it holds up incredibly well. And it weighs less than the hard side luggage. Every pound saved on weight is a bonus when flying. And it is a lot easier to store under the beds in your cabin than the hard side bags. We just had the wheels replaced on a 20 something year old Samsonite bag for a fraction of the cost of purchasing a new bag. We used to go to the outlet stores for our luggage. But over the past few years we have purchased our luggage at Kohl`s. When they are on sale and then use the discount coupons which gets us the bags for about a 3rd of the retail price. And with the soft side bags you are able to fit them into airplane overhead compartments as well. I put my carry on into the overhead compartment and my back pack goes under my seat. We have witnessed way too many travelers over the years not being able to get their hard side luggage into the overhead bins. Just an FYI.

Just get a spray can of air freshener. The plug in will overwhelm you in no time. We bring a spray can on each cruise and then leave it when dis embarking.

ROCKY HORROR is a classic. A lot of times those that say they don`t want to see it and then see it and then they are hooked. My wife is a perfect example. How about Cirque Du Soleil. They have several shows out now.

Sadly the few cents they are saving on these cheaper made cups is a sign of the times. All the pennies saved on making merchandise cheaper is bigger profit for whomever and not just R.C.. Our older cruise items are still looking really good. We never use the dishwasher for insulated mugs,cups,etc. They are hand washed and they still fog up over time.

My wife gets all gussied up. I will wear khaki`s, a polo shirt, sport coat, and sandals. I used to do the shirt, jacket, and tie. But after being all dressed up a few years back on formal night and this couple came to the table in their work out clothes and nothing was said. That did it for me and now its relaxed casual on formal night. Our next cruise is on Anthem in Sept. I might get a tuxedo t shirt for formal night. No sandals just penny loafers sans socks. Its a cruise. Got`s to relax.

The plastic covers is the way to go. Let the porters have all the bags. The less you have to carry around is the only way to go. Watching people walk around with their hands full can actually be quite entertaining. It is NOT worth the hassle. WELCOME to the message boards and enjoy your cruise.

Sorry for your loss. Good luck on trying to get the item back. The wife forgot to check one drawer on our cruise earlier this year and contacted Royal the next day. Nothing was ever found. No surprise there. Also their is a department that you contact and its only by email. How she overlooked it is beyond us as we check everywhere after each cruise. But it happened. It happens more than you can ever imagine. And not just on cruise ships.

How far is the Newark airport from Cape Liberty New Jersey cruise terminal. Can we catch a 10 a.m. flight if the ship docks at 7 a.m? Or should we fly later? This will be on a Saturday.
