Really?  What violation?  Perhaps you don't understand the Constitution ---- it prohibits the GOVERNMENT from telling you what you can, or can not say.  Last time I checked, this blog is NOT the government, therefore, Matt has every right to do things as he sees fit.
That's the problem these days, people don't understand that the Constitution was designed to RESTRICT THE GOVERNMENT -- NOT THE PEOPLE!

So much for freedom of speech and violation to the First Amendment of the Constitution. Sacrébleu !!

I changed the title. Bottom line, the old title was quite unhelpful to people browsing the forum because it's not very descriptive of what this thread is about.
Not to mention it's crass and frankly unnecessary.

Sometimes we just have to lighten up. These posts come and go. Let's not kill a good thing with an overdose of political correctness.

Yeah for sure. I hadn't seen it until this morning, so I was confused when I saw you mention 4 ships til I saw Ty updated it as people mentioned where it was available.  Thanks for having a good sense of humor with itNever know these days.

I have the Key for my trip in April on Navigator. Very excited for the experience!

I did a guided tour via Hummer to Emerald Lake. It's a long drive, but you do get to see what I'd consider to be the real countryside.  Also a decent chance at seeing wildlife along the way (although we only saw one bear).

Leaving tomorrow to Cancún, would let you know how it went. ?If anyone is planning a trip to Cancun you shouldn't be worried about this.
This news as bad as they sound doesn't affect tourist at all. This events tend to happen in other areas very distant from the Hotel and touristic Zone of Cancún.
Clearly the note states: "None of the killings occurred in the city’s beach-side hotel zone", "...in remote areas of Cancun eight bodies were discovered Tuesday."

It’s probably unfair of you to post a story about something you are unhappy about on a cruise board and then get upset when people give their opinions. Next time just leave the story out if you don’t want people to comment.
While I also agree with others that this issue should just be dropped, I hope that Royal somehow resolves the issue to your satisfaction.

I’ll put it in perspective. Most times in turbulence, you move less than a foot. I’ve flown before when I lost over 100 feet in about 5 seconds. Coupled with the fact that we were at 500 feet AGL, that is what falling out of the sky and crashing feels like. They were lucky they found the seat cushion after that one.
That said, though, I totally get why people don’t like turbulence, and I’m no great fan of it either.
Now a ship listing like Carnival suddenly and that severely....

I don't recall seeing underwear on any cruise line I've sailed.  I can't imagine it's a common need for them to consider and then having to stock different types and sizes.   No socks either that I've seen.

I am new to the blog but I wanted to provide some info on the ‘Crazy Ivans’ where the ship turned south and then west again.
We were on the same cruise and during a bridge tour we asked why the ship moved like that.  The officer said that because the wind from from the east at about 23 knots and the ship was moving about 21 knots they turn the ship like that to use the incinerator.  If not the ship would have ash rain down on the ship.  When the incineration is finished they would head back to the set course.
There was also a turn for the Suite helideck party on Tuesday.  Bobby said that Captain Rob slowed and turned the ship so the Helipad would be more comfortable.  That said, it was probably the nicest Oasis class Helipad weather experience.

    Day 10 - Dinner
    Playmakers
I've heard good things about the food at Playmakers and after ordering the sliders in the Mariner's Playmakers I thought I'd eat dinner here in Playmakers on Symphony tonight.
    Menu

    The Hamburger.

The hamburger is very good.  It is not a Windjammer hamburger with a different bun.  It's more of homemade looking cooked to order hamburger with two patties.
Way back on day 3 I was up early and took some pictures of Playmakers in the morning when it was empty.

While Mariner's Playmakers had only the fleet standard draft beers, Symphony's Playmakers has some additional draft options.

In terms of the question... "Is my game/sport/tournament going to be available on TV?" The answer is... it depends.
Sports content is licensed and no company can display sports content without acquiring a license to do so (a.k.a pay money).  Royal Caribbean can't steal or pirate the signal and display it onboard.
What they can do is approach their TV provider Global Eagle and request the cost for a broadcast license.  There is a lot that goes into that request including the ship's position.
For example, last Saturday while we were in the middle of the Atlantic, the ship could not acquire a license to display NCAA sports.  NCAA strictly controls broadcast rights and NCAA football was not available in Playmakers.  However what several people did was to bring a tablet or phone and watch their favorite team on their own device using a paid Voom Surf and Stream plan while sitting in Playmakers.
That will be different when the ship is in the Caribbean which NCAA in general allows as a region to enjoy their content.
NFL football was available but like other ships they don't tend to display every game that it is active at any given moment.  Using a tablet and a paid Voom account is always a good backup plan if your game/sport/tournament is important to you.

Here's the thing.  Photos are great but they don't nearly begin to convey the emotions felt during the show.  Like taking a snapshot every 10 minutes in a movie then thinking you don't need to go the theater to see it - wrong.  It's infinitely more impressive when seen live.
This experience alone is worth booking this ship, even for you ?

Or, counterpoint,  nonsmokers could simply pick a cruise line that doesn't allow smoking. (I'm a nonsmoker btw, but I know what I'm getting myself into, and don't expect others to change for me.)
