This is very true! Way better for X to Royal. It’s Royal’s fault for ditching the happy hour and going to vouchers. They spoiled us and now we’re kicking and screaming for our vouchers on X

Too bad Celebrity doesn't give daily drink vouchers like Royal Caribbean does. I'm in the Diamond / Elite tier and would rather have the vouchers to use as I please instead being limited to just the evening cocktail hour.
Hopefully that will change by early 2026.

We're on track for Pinnacle in 2025 and this is a game changer for us once that milestone is reached.  We liked our only X cruise but decided to stay with RCL for status points and the D+ benefits.

I'll claim Allure! I loved her. I wanted to sail her again until she started this shortie nonsense. I enjoy Mama Mia so much, and I like the fact that the big purple monster is still missing! Allure gets top billing from me!

Those offers are based on your actual play in the casino. If you play more, bet more and have more points at the end of each cruise than your wife then you are a more valuable player to the casino and they give you better offers. 

Agree with @twangster....if we do a Transatlantic, our preference is to fly to Europe, look around for a day or two, sail back to the States.   Heading eastbound with shorter days and a long end of voyage does not sound like fun.

Our Odyssey TA last month was the same. Changed at night. It was hardest the 5th night for me, but easy before that.
It was tough on the crew members, because that hour came from their time off/sleep. 🙁 We could adjust easier than they could since we could just sleep in or take a nap.  Our steward was thankful when the time changes stopped. 

I mentioned something similar on another thread about the how the transatlantic was tough on the crew.  6 time changes is rough...and they still had breakfast ready to go...every morning.   Breakfast became brunch for us as we delt with the time shift.

I am sad to report that I am unable to give my personal opinion on the comfortabity of the benches. My wife and I arrived about an hour before show time and were able to snag a particularly comfortable lounger right in the center of the theater. Highly recommended! 

Also the sweet piggies poop in the water. I did it a very long time ago at a resort in Cabo. Never. Again.

What is the attraction of swimming with pigs? Not judging, just genuinely curious. I think it sounds yukky. 😂

The Senior discounts are back.  I see some senior discounts on cabanas (PDCC). 
There is a "Diamond and Above" sale....first time I've seem that.

**Update** We’re three families departing on Icon tomorrow. Husband and I are Gold, my inlaws have no tier and neither does the other family traveling with us. I entered our check-in info -except- for our photos because no upload option was available and our kids were always in school when I'd think about adding pics. Fast-forward to me clicking on an “App Checklist” email I received today. I clicked through and it showed the other family with Express Boarding and their SetSail Pass in purple!  I was scratching my head and then figured I’d better add our pics. (Although it shows our check-in as completed, I thought this might have something to do with it.) Once I did this, my inlaws and son’s passes turned purple (he's booked in their room), while I'm waiting on my room passes to turn purple. In short, complete all of your check-in steps and maybe you’ll get a purple pass!

I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to call the casino line and just ask them what the rate would be to upgrade to a balcony (or any other room). Sometimes it is small and you know exactly what room you will receive.

I just recently won a RU bid on a casino comp.  It’s for my 6-6 Indy cruise.  Even better, it was one of those BOGO comps and I wasn’t sure it would even qualify, but I guess it did !  I didn’t want to upgrade this one directly b/c the second guest would have been expensive to upgrade….but I got a nice RU from an inside 4V to a panoramic OV 1L on Indy.  Very happy.  I have one more of those to get rid of (8-15 also on Indy) so I’m crossing my fingers that RU works again next time.

We enjoyed that $79 deal on the 2nd leg of a Symphony B2B in Sep 21 as well...scored it for only $49 on the 1st leg...love that post-pandemic pricing.
