I have never had a problem on beds on board. I feel that they are very comfortable. Or maybe I just sleep well on vacation because I know that I have no chores to do ?

This isn't off-menu, but on our last cruise (Adventure Nov '17) our waiter left a little bit to be desired so we hit the Windjammer two nights.  One night they had an Indian food section that was solid, and the butter chicken was the best I've ever had.  Another evening was "Caribbean Night" that was to die for.  The jerk chicken was moist, spicy... great stuff!

I did this in January (I believe taking a cue from you).  Unfortunately our server, for some 
reason, waited until we were nearly finished our dinner the next evening and I was already
pretty full, but I did try it and it was excellent!   Wish I had known...
 
They really are such good people, and seem to take a lot of pride in their jobs with our satisfaction being their goal.

Thanks!   The username is authentic.  I'm a retired Technical Special Agent turned stage photographer.  It was quite a change, the subjects don't have chalk outlines or markers and they keep moving.  People either kept a sense of humor or went back to working on a regular squad.

My next cruise (6 and a half months to go, but who's counting, amirite?) will be my first cruise solo and only my second cruise ever. (Explorer, South Pacific, March 2019)
This thread has been hugely informative for planning purposes! I hadn't got much past the "drink package, here I come - cue the party goblin!" ?
So, here's the plan:
1. Arrive early!
2. Drink - and toast to the beginning of the rest of my new life sans overgrown man-child
3. Find a spot to sit and people watch
4. Spa open day - forgot totally about that! 
5. More drink! More people watching.
6. Check out cabin when ready
7. Food at some point, depending on hunger
8. MDR visit to secure two person table for solo dining
9. Muster drill
10. Sailaway party
And, like @KWofPerth, I'll be happy to achieve any part of this, so long as the first two items are done.
Oh, and I will be photographing my drinks, my stateroom, my view when people watching and everything else, and then posting it to social media. I want people to know just what a great time I'm having!

I think that's what I would like to do when we go.  Walk around and take it in, maybe hit the rum factory, and I'd love to find a really good lunch.
Then probably back on the ship for some lazing around.

Likely the additional cost of clean up personnel for the kids who let the stuff fly everywhere.  Popcorn fight on the pool deck?  Why not? No parents around to say otherwise...
In an Elevator? Popcorn fight!  In a hot tub?  Popcorn fight!
If it were free they couldn't make enough and places like hot tubs would be full of it.

I don't know why, but it really bugs me that RC charges $3 for a container of popcorn.  
I mean - other than a pot of rice, is there anything that costs less to cook???
