  1. I am glad you are having a good time. Your comments about the food is spot on. My sister is always disappointed with cruise food but that is because she is expecting a 5 star quality/experience. She forgets the cruise ship is cooking for 2000, 3000, 4000+.
  2. Stop, drop, and pass the rolls! My family told me to stop telling Thanksgiving jokes, but I said I couldn't quit cold turkey.
  3. @Traveling Mike I hope all is well with you. It sounds to me that you have a bad case of Burn Out => 60 hours/week. You really need this vacation. Don't worry about this blog - worry about your own health. Have a great time. My only question - what does MDR serve for Thanksgiving? Anything special.
  4. I hope the weather is fine for you. It is supposed to reach 60 today in Boston.
  5. I too am an northerner (New Englander), who just does not know what to do with my winter coat/gloves/hat. We once traveled to FL from PA (after visiting my sister). We had left all of our winter gear in the car. The plan was for my husband to get the car from the parking lot while I watched our three very young kids. Go figure - Philly got dumped with snow. Over 12 inches. Poor hubby had to clear off the now with his bare hands to get the car door open. While the car was warming up, he bundled up in his VERY COLD winter gear and got busy clearing the rest of the snow. 45 minutes later, he was driving up in a warm car to pick us up. Moral of the story - bring along 1 set of warm weather gear for the person who is responsible for getting the car. LOL
  6. Love your blog and LOVE your family photo. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.
  7. I hate dragging my bags behind me. As far as committing to one outfit - you will only be in that one outfit for a few hours. If the outfit is really uncomfortable, you will be reunited with your bags by 9am. Then you can change in the car. Been there, done that.
  8. Thank you. I especially appreciate your advise about the Key. I have been hemming and hawing over the price they charge. I also noticed that all the ports I have been too, never needed a tender. So, I will also never purchase the Key unless they lower the price.
  9. I am sorry but I think this was the best part of the blog!! I am dying here with laughter.
  10. I am looking forward to your blog. Thank you for taking us along.
  11. We had one member do just a live blog of just pictures. Why not have a live blog with no pictures? LOL!
  12. Get your family involved. They can remind you to take the pictures or provide you with their pictures. They could also do a write up of a meal or activity for you. I bet a few of them would get a kick out of it.
  13. I know that you can get massages much cheaper on land. But I absolutely LOVE getting a massage (or two) during my cruise. Just make sure you stress before the start that you do NOT want any sales pitch. Otherwise you will lose your massage glow.
