I’ve got a Dec 22 sailing on Allure with all the paperwork, cruise planner purchases, app functionality, final payments, and check-ins.
But I noticed when shopping for YOLO booking opportunities that my cruise is not listed on the booking website. I’ve been checking back over the past week or so and it hasn’t been there.
Does anyone have any idea why this might be?

@WesKineticWhich ship will you be on? Our Allure menus for next month are still the same…

the only thing you should be advised of, of course, is the walk from the elevators to the actual back of the ship to your cabin -
Second this. We found the trek back to the rear of the ship to be an annoyance and definitely the biggest downside. If you’re ok with a hike, you should be fine.

@Traveljenn Were the burgers and fries still available? Or is it a full menu revamp?

Our Disney cruise featured that concept. Didn’t care for it personally. Different strokes.

The suites on your cruise are sold out. Royal Up is run directly by Royal Caribbean as a means of selling suites following late cancellations or for other reasons they are not booked leading up to the sailing. But suites are usually the first rooms to go; I doubt there’s travel agent interference here, as you have interpreted.

Disembarkation was incredibly easy, even better than Miami.
Why?
The distance from gangway to facial recognition to luggage is a matter of feet. It's a very short walk.
You had previously discussed the need for a later flight out of Houston for many reasons, one of which was the Galveston port itself. I believe you recommended no earlier than 2pm. Does the new port change that?

I completely understand where this woman was coming from. As a Platinum member in CA Society, I will often explore staff-only areas, take food off other passengers’ plates, and take over giving lessons on the iFly and Flowrider. If anyone ever questions me, I just point to the Platinum pin I constantly wear, even in the shower, and that quiets them down pretty quickly.

On Ovation in July, the kids would get trips to Windjammer or Sorrento’s with AO

Your menus should be relatively accurate, especially this close to the sailing. Royal posts the menus, I believe, to encourage early specialty dining booking on those nights when you find the menu lackluster. That being said, I haven’t heard anything about lobster night coming off the menu.

Menus are in the app.
The menu I’m seeing for my Christmas sailing on Allure show the same items for lunch and dinner.

I have a cruise in January on Allure and still cannot reserve entertainment.
They have opened it up on select cruises. At this point Allure doesn’t appear to have made the list.
Allure reservations are available for my Christmas cruise

Be sure to check the day of the week you would be in Sitka. The town largely closes down on Sundays.

We’ve been on Navigator (albeit during Omicron, so not fully operational) and decided to book Allure for our family despite its lack of slides for the experience. Figure we know the kids like the water slides but want to see how they do with the zip line, multiple pools, and neighborhood concept of Allure. If they don’t like it, we don’t have to do it again until it’s amplified. Plus, it’ll give me the opportunity to get on my high horse - “Back in my day we didn’t have water or slides” and so forth.
