I used Air2Sea for the first time
smokeybandit replied to Matt's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
The agent asked if I wanted to pick seats. Sure, why not! I just asked to be put as close to the front as possible and she gave me what I assume were the best free seats left. I didn't get great seats, but I can tell from looking on AA.com with a dummy booking there are plenty of seats to upgrade to once the reservation is paid for next week. -
Fully Vaccinated Cruise = No Kids
smokeybandit replied to tonyfsu21's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
You can get there the day before. The only gotcha is if you're traveling with kids under age 10 who will (as of now at least) require a negative PCR test to board, but not to get in the country. Still no word yet on the lead time of the testing window to get on board and how it coincides with the Bahama 5-day test window All indications are that the test you get to disembark will count towards any Bahamas re-entry a well a USA re-entry. You could depart the next day, or even several days later. Just that disembarkation test may then be too old to count towards your USA re-entry. -

RC could store patient data (they already do store PII like birth dates), but they'd have to be given that data from the individual. A HIPAA-covered entity couldn't outright give RC or some other business that data. -

Yep, HIPAA is the last thing involved here, unless private businesses want access to health record databases so they can check your status on their own. -

Do 1700 and 1750 have two balconies? Or are those basically panoramic suites with balconies? -
I keep tabs on my cruises and those fares have fluctuated, but not any higher than I've seen them. Also not low enough to make them cheaper than what I already have booked

I used Air2Sea for the first time

My flight to the Bahamas dropped $62 per person and it was very easy to call up Air2Sea to get the new price. I can also confirm being able to pick seats through Air2Sea (American Airlines in this case) even though I can't pick them through the airline website. Another FYI for the Bahamas, their cost for post-cruise airport transportation is $20 per person. -
If you wear the WOW band upside down, is it then a MOM band?

Neither of mine dropped. IN fact, both went up in price from yesterday.

The basis for this study was done in 2017. -
CDC What do you think?
smokeybandit replied to Phillip Diamond Plus's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
The CDC is still stuck a year behind the times. Their study is a bunch of theoretical and computer models based on simulations and mock ups not consistent with an actual airplane. Even their conclusions are a bunch of "maybes" and "coulds" https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7016e1.htm?s_cid=mm7016e1_w -

Which is ridiculous since the likelihood of needing to use those agreements is near zero -
Maybe they locked the door and threw away The Key?

Sneaky Cruise Planner Pricing!

I thought I read somewhere, maybe the other site, that the new cruise planner interface would include gratuities. -
Cruise Planner Sale April 14-20, 2021

I'm still bummed I didn't pull the trigger on the coco cay beach club when it was $71 per person right after Adventure went on sale.
