Thanks @WAAAYTOOO your right the refund only took 7 days to get.  That's not that bad.  Of Course it only took less than an hour for them to take the money...  lol

It depends on the ship and the length of the cruise.  $99 for an Oasis or Quantum class ship is about as good as it's likely to get.  I paid $99 for all of my Oasis class 7 night sailings.  I paid $79 for my Liberty 7 night sailing and all of the prices for December 2021 and beyond are still full price so I have not purchased any of those yet. I'm hoping that the prices will go down once they get a little closer but who knows what the CP prices are going to do once sailings restart.

I too am setting sail on the Allure in Oct.  It is not a big deal to me that she did not get amped.

Even though there is a deadly virus spreading across the world forcing countries to lockdown some people buy shares in a cruise company and then when stock value falls they feel they have the right to sue for not realising, understanding or being given the correct information about how bad this virus is going to be.
    Absolute bloody joke !!!!!!

A lot has to do with which ship you will be on.  If it is one of the O or Q class ships, yes, I think the 3 night package is a good deal at $99.
...but remember that the UDP offers a LOT more than just dinners.  It also includes lunches any time that the restaurant is open and can accommodate you (this usually means sea days, but not always).  Also, with the UDP, you can eat as many times in as many different venues as you want - even on the same day/night.  We sometimes go to Chops for dinner and then wander over to Wonderland for dessert.  Many people enjoy having wings and other snacks at Playmakers in the afternoon and then having a regular full service meal somewhere later in the evening.  You can enjoy a sushi snack at Izumi and then go to another restaurant later.
So, if you are a "wandering" eater and think you would enjoy eating at more than 1 venue per day, the UDP is a much better deal, IMO.  If, however, you are just looking to sample a few of the specialty restaurants and don't envision yourself eating multiple times per day, then the 3 night package would probably make more sense.

Received email from Southwest Airlines about flights from Houston to Miami and back. Use to go to Fort Lauderdale and transfer to Miami port. Now can fly to Miami directly and back.
Flights listed on Southwest Airlines website. Already changed my departure flight to be from Miami when I get off of Allure in Febuary.

I've had The Key several times.  I do like it, but I won't pay for it if it's over $19.99pp.

Using a TA is about all of their services without a fee. It's more than just booking something, that's the easy part. It's when you run into problems/questions/concerns later that the value of a TA stands out.

I bought The Key once and I think it is worth it if you are getting VOOM, and if you don't want to rush getting to a show. We boarded late, so we couldn't do the Chops lunch or utilize the carry on storage, which I think is minor. I think anything more than $24.99, it loses value.

IMO it depends on which ship you're on, I think the key is more worth on the larger ships, do you utilize things like the flow rider rock wall? When we bought the key on the Navigator, the perks we took advantage of was the priority check in, but is that even going to be a thing during this pandemic?  Lunch at chops on embarkation day, but if we can not get on the ship until late in the afternoon will the lunch be an option?  The internet and breakfast on debarkation day. We didn't need to use it for the shows on the smaller ship but would be a good use for the larger ships for sure. We didn't  use the flow rider, rock wall options.  also if you were plan on getting the internet package, sometimes the key is only a little more then the internet packages so to me that would definitely make it worth. I would wait for the price to drop to 19.99, I purchased mine on the Symphony for 19.99.

Back in May, I spent over 400 minutes on the phone trying to get the FCC certificates for a cancelled cruise straightened out.
A TA would have done that for us.
Plus when our new TA  (Kelley Hardy at MEI) booked our next cruise, she got us a lower rate than what I had seen on the RC site.

What is the advantage of using a TA?  Isn't easier to go directly thru the, in this case RC?

Yes there is a cost...currently on my cruise planner (I am on the Navigator in April 2021) it costs $65.99/adult and $38.99/child.  I got it on sale a few weeks ago for $43.99/adult and $25.99/child.   I believe it is about 30-40 minutes.
