FWIW, shorts & a polo made me more dressy than half the MDR on Wonder the past two nights.

Also consider that if you are buying insurance now, it may not apply to a cruise you have previously purchased.  This would fall in the same category as "Oops, I have to cancel my cruise, so I better go buy an insurance policy, so I can get all my money back."  The fact that you are already aware that your cruise could be skipping Labadee makes it too late to get insurance to cover that possibility.

I agree with @smokeybandit.  In order to file an insurance claim you must have suffered some financial loss that you are trying to recoup.  There is no financial loss in missing a port unless you have a non-refundable excursion already purchased and that’s not even possible on Labadee.  There is no claim to file.

Day 8 - We went through the Sounds of Auckland! - Doubtful Sound early in the morning. Went up to the WJ for breakfast, needless to say... lots of people fighting over tables near the window. After breakfast, dad went to play bumper cars and I went to the arcade where I spent ~$10 on one of the machines to win a wireless charger. After winning the wireless charger, we sailed through Dusky Sound - it was pretty cold and windy on the top deck - bad mistake wearing shorts 🤣.  The Fiordlands of New Zealand are spectacular and I definitely recommend people sail through them at least once. After Dusky Sound, I headed over to the WJ for lunch. After lunch, we went back to the cabin to nap. Around 3pm, we sailed through Milford Sound. Milford Sound is easily the most beautiful of the New Zealand Sounds. They were nice enough to stop the ship for us to take photos.
After Milford Sound, we waited for dinner. It was Asian night. The Pad Thai was very dry and the Sweet and Sour Pork just wasn't good. The Dumplings were very good though 👌👌. So much so that I ordered 4 portions 🤣🤣. Desert was the weakest part of the night.
After dinner, dad didn't wanna do anything so we just went back to the room. I went to watch a game show in the two70 "The Majority Rules Game Show" where like the name implies - the majority answer wins. It was pretty funny... too bad I have noone to participate in these game shows with. Dad doesn't like doing anything. After this ended - I went to watch the production show - A Beautiful Dream (a show I've seen before, but like watching for the different cast). Just as good as the last time I saw it.
It was pretty late at this point so I just went to bed.

Been reading through this website as a resource but this my 1st cruise and 1st post. Today, our Oasis of the Seas trip on 3/31 was rescheduled from Labadee to a 2nd day at Coco Cay. I was excited to go to Coco Cay for 1 day and experience it, but not 2 days! I see other cruises getting switched to Turks and Caicos. Is this ridiculous that we have to spend 2 consecutive days now at Coco Cay? And besides, we also stop at Nassau. So 3 days in the Bahamas????? What is with this?

I was quite surprised to find an email a few minutes ago regarding our 4-14-24 EX cruise, which was supposed to call at Labadee.  I would have thought that they would wait for a while to change the itin but they didn't (wait, that is).
So we will now be going to PDCC vs Labadee.  I think this is considered a BIG WIN.  I don't get off at PDCC so it's a wash for me.  They also [slightly] extended the hours that we will be in Falmouth (the other PoC on this sailing).
IMO the best part of this change is that there will now be a sea day between the 2 PoC.  I really hate itins that have consecutive ports.  I much prefer a sea day in between and we now have that.  YIPPEE !
This (4-14-24 5 night cruise) sailing is sandwiched between 2, 9 night very port intensive cruises so the sea day is even more welcome.  We will be on EX for 23 consecutive days, the longest length of time for us on one ship (it's a B3B) that we have done yet !  Then, we will have 1 day in dry dock, followed by a FR 4 night-er, then 2 more dry dock days followed by a 7 night Wonder cruise.  It's going to be a VERY busy April/early May for us !

As a former midwestern-er, I love hearing someone say "pop." I've been on the East Coast for 27 years now and have converted to saying soda but still like hearing that.

    Yesterday. 🎉 Thanks for remembering.
Mason Jar pics coming later. My wife took over (she has a better phone & takes better photos than I do) so I have to get them from her & I’m too stuffed right now.

Wow, there are some really, really nice resort day passes available in Jamaica!!! Maybe I'll send my parents there and then my husband and I will take the teens on a more adventurous tour... Although my husband might lobby to go with my parents.

I’m following your adventures!  I will be boarding Symphony in 58 days with my two grandsons and their mom (my daughter 😊).  We have 2 OV connecting balconies.
I'm looking forward to your ship and food pictures as well as your “off ship fun!”!

Yes... I pulled out all of my cruise stuff plus all of the new Bezos stuff I bought and it almost fills up a full suitcase. I blame @asquared17 😂  A lot is still in packaging so I hope it shrinks down substantially when I unwrap it all. Once I get back in there to reorganize, I'll take pics of it so you can see the madness.
Went to the bank and got our cruise cash today. Makes it feel really real!
It looks like Falmouth, Jamaica is our replacement stop for Labadee. What should I do there? Any suggestions? I am definitely a "planner" @WAAAYTOOO so this Labadee situation is throwing me for a loop, to have to pull something together last minute. My husband jokes that I'm the chess player of life - always thinking 5 steps ahead - and he is a checkers player of life, just responding to what's happening in the moment.
I WISH we were getting PDCC! I've never been...
I am fairly confident they will! I can't imagine not having a good time on a ship like Symphony. (AND I don't have to share a room with them!! LOL)
So many of you just went on or are going on Symphony soon. She honestly seems like the perfect ship to me, except for missing those little Central Park balconies.
We do too, and my parents' room is just down 3 doors (2 rooms between). I hope we don't annoy the people in between us by yelling back and forth from our balconies 😬

Since today is the 19th you can let us know if you had success checking in!  If not…then apparently tonight is the night!
I am an EastCoaster and I’ve had 2 different check in dates for my May cruise.  It’s either March 31 or April 1.  No biggie to me…I will check the first date and if that one doesn’t happen, oh well, the second date will be just fine!

Leaving on March 23 Symphony of the Seas. No email or announcement yet, but just checked the app. Looks like we are going to Jamaica. Thrilled it’s not another day at sea. I’m guessing Royal Caribbean will be announcing it’s extending the cancellation of Labadee past the 22nd.
