But yeah, the $12.99 lunch sale is/was a great opportunity to try all the different specialty restaurants for yourself.

It was still 1.5 hours each way (ugh) but at least it wasn’t 1.5 hours PLUS that horrible ferry ride.  It was well worth the time spent getting there.  I won’t do it again but I’m glad I did it once.

We called on Progreso a few months ago and that's when we finally decided to go to Chitzen Itza.  Still a long bus ride but sans the ferry.

I would love to be the kind of person that looks at that $65K/person price tag and thinks "sure, I can manage that."

I had it for the first time last week.  Personally I thought it was the worst specialty restaurant in the fleet by far.  Other than the banana split, I thought the rest of the items I tried were extremely underwhelming or just plain bad.  I will definitely be choosing other options (including the MDR) in the future.

If we're going to list what we would like, I'll order Icon 3 doing 7 night Sunday to Sunday.  A Voyager class doing 7 night Saturday to Saturday visiting other ports than Roatan, Cozumel and Costa Maya. And a third ship doing 4 &5 day cruises during the week. 
Oh! And I'd like fries with that! 

Most rental car companies can provide a car seat if requested.  It might be an additional cost though.

Rental cars are usually a better option for a longer trip like that and provide much more time flexibility. 
I used the Enterprise location in downtown to drive to Kennebunkport.  It's about a mile from the port so it's walkable or Uber was about $6 each way.  The airport also has several other rental company options and isn't too far from the port.  Just like most things, go ahead and create a reservation now and watch for price drops throughout the year.  I also like the fact that rental car reservations don't require any deposit up front and you can just no show with no penalty if another option presents itself.

If you've not done one before an Everglades Airboat ride can be fun and will burn up a few hours before they drop you at the airport.

It looks like its some kind of vote between the 2 options.  60% like the internet option, 40% like the shore excursions option.

Definitely some kind of dynamic voting.  The percentages are now different.

They must be just going off of email clicks.  Everywhere I click just takes me to the cruise planner for that item.  I don't see any other way to "vote" or "like"
