That’s why we did it. My son does not like the sun on him too much so we thought this would be a good idea. Since it was three of us, my husband took the pool chair lounge next to us. We also had a chair inside if we needed it.

I just got back from Oasis and did a Casita. Really enjoyed it. We were next to Lime & Coconut so had service readily available that didn’t need to use the attendant button. We used it from 9-5, the allotted time we had. Would definitely do it again. 

I went the second day around 9ish on the cruise because I didn’t realize you could pick first day you are on the ship.
 For the Oasis, it was on the 16th floor (there is a sign) I saw the person with a clipboard and told him I had the 4th day. He said you could pick now and showed me by numbers, what was still available. We walked to some of them. I chose the one that was next to Lime & Coconut fir the bar and was not too close to the slides for less noise. There are 4 bottles of water on ice, and a button that can reach attendant by their Watch. They will write your names on a chalkboard in case someone else try’s to use it when you are not there. (It happens, as many did not know it’s by reservation) The attendant brought us fruit about a few hours in, which was a nice touch.  We ended up using it all day. For us, it was worth having a nice area to lay without searching for chairs like the other days. 
Many had already picked first day so recommend doing that. When we went, 4 people in front of us.

Yes..you are only selecting the name it will be reserved under through the Cruise Planner.

You can go the first day if you want to choose it for any other day. They will put you on the list and you can pick which one you want. 

Great. Thank you. We have one reserved for a January cruise. We went ahead and reserved early with the knowledge that we could cancel if others felt it wasn't worth it. We are happy to know you enjoyed it and the ability to reserve in advance.

I personally always take a look at the final dollar amount rather than the % off. I've also know that they started separating the gratuities till the end. I think this started some time last year. So I don't pay attention to the numbers or percentages till I see what I am going to pay. 

ArriveCAN applies to any visit to Canada by road, rail, plane or sea.  If your international travel includes the word "Canada" you'll need ArriveCAN.

I have purchased a casita on my upcoming cruise. From what I understand, you have to go to the Lime and Coconut bar at 9:00 AM to choose your location. I believe it comes with chilled water bottles and 1 Bar drink for the 1st 2 people in your group.

Yes, we have! I have 1 son who will be 14 by then. Soooo much fun and things to do! On our March cruise, it was the first time he went to the teenage club and had a blast.

I will second this, load in all your vax info beforehand. That is the most time consuming part of the app.  When the border first opened back up in November 2021, it took a while to get my info into the app.  I saved Hubby and kids as "dependents" and since November 2021, we have used Arrive Can several times and it has been very quick to fill out with vax info and passport info pre-loaded.
I have also never been asked to show the actual app receipt at the land border crossing. I think it definitely is linked to the passport because each time we have crossed since November, the land border agent thanks us for filling out the app properly, even though they never asked to see it.

Yes.  I am sailing May 15 on Oasis.  I bid very slightly over minimum on a 1 br grand suite and minimum on a 2 br grand suite.  I figured there's no way I'd get the 2 br since there are only 6 (I think?) on the ship, but I got it with the minimum bid. Found out on Tuesday- was totally shcocked.

I bring magnets, magnets with hooks, my clothing cubes, clothing hooks for attaching our swimsuits, and I love my shoe organizer that I can hook to door…use it for everything I need, like lotions, googles, toiletries, shoes, etc. Love that I can see everything right away and makes everything organized! 
My steward loves how everything has its place. I’m sure makes their cleaning easier too….🙌🏼
