  1. 135 days since I walked off Mariner of the Seas and spent a day in pure bliss in Coco Cay. ? 110 days (fingers, toes crossed and prayers being said) till we go on Indy and go back to Coco Cay! ?
  2. haha no problem! It gets confusing when there's so many numbers. Good luck! That's a deal on that drink package! Our sailing in August is only 20% off and still nowhere near the price I want, but hey...things can change ?
  3. I used their email to contact them (see below for links), but I believe the direct line for Cruise Planner help is 1-800-398-9819. Shore & Land Excursions, please email us at [email protected] All other reservations using our Cruise Planner please email us at [email protected]
  4. I love this idea! I really miss early mornings in the WJ, late nights in the theater and full days at Coco Cay!
  5. Yikes!!! That's heartbreaking. We paid $61/pp and right now it's $65pp for August. Gonna wait till it goes down for sure. Our cruise in Feb is $90pp, so praying for a Black Friday sale! haha
  6. I also opted for the 125% cruise planner credit for my 05/11 cruise, but got the email at midnight at states it will be refunded to original form of payment. Like some mentioned above, I didn't think about it, but it probably is just an auto generated email. But I saw that they embedded a link to the cruise planner email address so I shot them an email about it. I'm not worried about it either way, but it would be nice to have an extra 25% to apply toward an excursion or something. We'll see!
  7. How exciting!!! We're set for Odyssey February 2021 so I'm dying for blogs and stories and pictures of those ahead of me! Haven't done a holiday cruise myself, but I can't imagine how amazing it must be! I'm sure all the experienced holiday cruisers will be responding to you soon!!
  8. At the moment, I'd kill for just a Chicken Sandwich from the Shack on Coco Cay....it's calling out to me. With a funnel cake and icecream for dessert. And many a CocoLoco in between! Pardon me while I wipe the drool and tears off my face.
  9. Me too! We rescheduled ours for August, fingers crossed!
  10. Absolutely! I love love love the private island life. Shoot, I'd sail if there were no port days and just sea days! I'm so ready to get back on a ship ?
  11. I rolled my May cancellation to August, bringing me exactly 30 days past the end of the CDC's new 100 day no-sail ruling thru mid-July. We will see what the next couple months bring. I am SO glad I smartened up and used MEI for the first time during my last booking, definitely gonna need their help as we sort through these back to back cancellations ?
  12. What’s the best way to get in touch with a fish? drop it a line!
  13. I long to go back to CocoCay! And looking forward to enjoying our first ever ocean view balcony on Indy (hopefully in August!) We've only done interior rooms, without a view, so we're excited to enjoy what everyone talks about- coffee on the balcony in the morning, and kraken and coke on the balcony in the eve.
  14. Swapped our cancelled cruise in May for same itinerary sailing August 17th on Independence!
  15. Oh wow, thank you, I must have misunderstood that part. I feel like I'm on information overload...I need a CocoLoco stat!
  16. Welp, for 24 hours I've been sweeping up my shattered dreams off the floor, like most of you, as our May 11th Indy sailing was cancelled. I made a few comments previously that I will never ever book again without a TA, and I'm sticking to that! I'm already looking at basically the same cruise we planned, but in July. Are y'all waiting to rebook until we know for sure cruising resumes? Or is it worth just working with a TA now to use the FCC (when it's available) and start planning? I just don't want to keep losing deposits either, since, from what I understand that's not refundable, and we don't know when cruising will ever resume. Just curious what you guys were doing out there and far out you're booking?
  17. On the first day, we went to get our bands so we could try the Flow Rider...my husband forced me to take a picture while he, and the ladies managing the band station, laughed because I barely met the height requirements haha! Harmony of the Seas May 2019, it was a special 3-nighter they offered during that time (which is way too short for such a large ship fyi!)
  18. Oh that's an idea! We've never done an excursion before, we always wander around on our own, but I know there's benefits to both sticking with RCCL's and also finding your own. Will definitely keep this in mind.
  19. Oh how awesome! Thank you for posting those!! Oh man it’s gorgeous...
  20. I will never book again without a travel agent! I do believe the amount of time and effort and stress my husband and I dealt with and spent over the phone would’ve been alleviated had we had a TA. Lesson learned. But we will truly value and appreciate the TA in the future knowing what they deal with!
  21. That is awesome!! We upgraded in May on Independence, from Interiors to Ocean Balconies too!! But without a TA, and we will never ever ever book without a TA ever ever again. It was a long and grueling process, but I'm glad I experienced it because I will appreciate the TA even more next round! Especially with all the awesomeness your TA's are doing. I'm glad that worked out for you!
  22. #stillgoing 61 days till our "10 year wedding anniversary & the one with the in-laws" cruise!!!
  23. Oh nice! It's great to know what the tour guides think, that says a lot. So many great options..definitely love the idea of included island deliciousness as well!
  24. Hey cruisees! wanted to share our experience we had with calling RCCL. First of all, we will never book without a travel agent again as it was way too long and painful. I called last night waited about 45 minutes got connected to an agent but it was such a broken connection that I had to end the call. I was calling because when I looked on the website our sailing in May was $230 cheaper than what we paid for. It was past our final payment date and we knew that it would probably be challenging to try to get some kind of onboard credit or any cash back but we wanted to talk to someone to see what they could do as we had two rooms booked, one being for our wedding anniversary and one being for our in-laws first cruise. We called again this morning and within 2.5 hours (due to hold waits) we got quite a deal! We originally booked and paid for an interior cabin and they upgraded us to an ocean view balcony for $279 for one and a free balcony for the other room we paid for. It was a long and grueling process but I have to say it was worth it. Again I would definitely never do this again without a travel agent. For those of you trying to get some money back since Royal Caribbean is dropping prices it is worth staying on the line if you have the time as they are more than accommodating to try to work it out. Don’t give up! #LoyalToRoyal
