I would think there would be enough space for a roll away if you can get one. You may have to move the coffee table the way.

I believe we just had a thread on this...

Are they doing the upcharge NorthStar (like they did for the Alaska glaciers) when viewing the island shores ?

As far as I know, only star class guests can get room service on embarkation day prior to 5:30pm.
...and even for SC I think it’s somewhat limited.

Stay out of Diamonds International. They are owned by the cruise line’s.

One bite is about all I can stand of creme brûlée, as good as it is. It’s just sooooo sweet.
...and speaking of waaaytooo sweet, do NOT fall for the Addams Family ads from IHOP for those cool-looking purple whupped cream pancakes. I tried it this morning (including the whipped crean hot chocolate). I thought my teeth were going to drop out of my mouth. Delicious but waaaytooo sweet

Are there any updates on potential overnights at Coco Key? Or an easy way to search those itineraries if they already exist?
No overnights yet that I am aware of.
My hypothesis was that they were planning on using the Resort that they recently purchased at Freeport (Grand Lucayan or something like that) as their overnight vehicle but I fear Dorian may have ruined those plans (if that ever WAS the plan).
As far as the ship just staying overnight (as opposed to pax disembarking and remaining behind) I have seen no itins for that either.

The egg whites have a strange resemblance to insulating foam. Probably tastes about the same, too ! The fruit looks ok.

On a per person, per day basis, the shorter the cruise, the more expensive it is....especially on the newly amped ships. The cruises we took in June and July on NAV are some of the expensive pp/pd cruises we’ve ever done.
If you only have a few days then it’s worth paying the high premium but if you have the time, it’s definitely a better deal to go on longer cruises.

I did it several times, but I don't know what the limit was or if there was one. My total that I cashed out was less than $500 as I was doing it to take my OBC from the shortened cruise in cash form and I didn't have the right credit card set up (out of pure laziness lol). I started with $100 just to see if there was ever a fee charged and when I saw it posted as $100 straight up then I did it a few more times to eat up the OBC. And to double check I compared the invoice I was mailed at home and it all matched up with no extra charges.
But you’re Prime, right ? So I don’t think would have charged you anyway. We need a non-Prime test subject to verify the fee aspect.

Oof. This flight has a bad gate lice infection.
Say what ?? Oh.....you mean the ones that hang out 3” from the boarding lane believing that if they’re the first ones on that they will win the lottery ?

Thanks for replying, It is really helpful. I don’t really mind small balconies since I’m not very interested in the show, And personally I don’t think there’s really much to see in the ports.
You’re welcome !

So it looks like I owe someone (can’t remember who it was) a huge apology for insisting that Royal did not allow you to get cash from your onboard account at the slot machines. I’m sorry...to whoever it was.
Is this something new ? I don’t remember (obviously) being able to do this although, I am NOT a slots player so maybe you could always do it and I just never knew. I recall many years ago asking if you could do this and was told “no”. It’s a terrific capability to avoid the 5% convenience fee. Can you do it more than once or beyond the $500 ?

First I knew going in how expensive this sailing would be and I booked late, so the cost was substantial. I booked the last owners suite but wanted the crown loft that was unavailable. The crown loft showed up after I was paid in full for almost $3,000.00 cheaper (could I have been mistaken?) so I was told if I wanted to change I would lose the price difference, ah no thank you! So yesterday I receive my Royal Up offers and loan behold there is the crown loft I was hoping , for a minimum bid of $300.00 pp I was so confused, I thought it was a great deal less for this particular sailing. I placed a very minimal bid for the 2 bedroom aqua suite just in case but honestly I am very unsettled about this whole crown loft situation, ( I made no bid on it ) can anyone make this clearer to me then mud? Thank you in advance for your insight, you guys are fantastic! Sailing November 24, 2019 out of PC
I have noticed on several of my sailings that the OS is more expensive than the CLS. Many people want that location up on 17 but IMO the OS locations (other than not being close to the CK) are more desirable than the CLS. I would rather have 1 level than deal with the stairs but having 2 bathrooms is a plus.
One thing that I have noticed in the non-connecting OS on the Oasis Class ships....there is a large structural pole right near the front door which I don’t like. I have been contemplating switching my OS to a CLS on the “everyone-is-in-Star-Class-but-me” March 14, 2021 cruise for that reason. The CLS are cheaper than the OS on that cruise (NOT $3K cheaper....if they were I would have already moved !) on that cruise but I really would rather have the OS. I just don’t care for that flippin’ pole.

Not sure with whom the Centurion Lounge is aligned, but that breakfast looks a far sight better than what they offer me in the AA Admirals Club !

We have to wait until next Dec to board her. I am looking forward to ship tour videos after she has been amped. I want to get an idea of what things will look like post amp.
We will be on Oasis Dec 8, 2020 as well as Dec 1, 2019

We are thinking about ordering room service for lunch on embarkation day once the staterooms are ready to avoid the buffet rush. Does anyone know if room service is available that early on embarkation day?
I doubt that room service is available on embarkation day. Room service is normally only available during hours that the MDR is open (although I believe some room service is available late at night so this busts my hypothesis, I guess). I suspect that turnaround day would just be too busy. I’m not certain though.

Is that the W Marriott property ? I’ve been eyeing that one or the regular Marriott for my Dec Oasis cruise. I thought the W sounded kinda “funky” (not in a good way). How are the rooms ?
