  1. Yes, if the unvaccinated child is with them, they will be restricted. If the unvaccinated child is not with them, there will be no restriction.
  2. Looks like the passage is even tighter now, with that drop cloth underneath !
  3. I think I know the dog you are talking about on Anthem, @Ogilthorpe but if it's the one I'm thinking about, he is in a wagon rather than a stroller. We did a B2B with him. I think the dog's name is Bobby or something silly like that. The man who owns/pulls the dog is a complete curmudgeon...really nasty. The dog either bit someone or fouled the deck (can't remember which but I think it was the latter) and we heard that they were banned from sailing after that. However, I then heard, later, that they were back on Anthem again so I have no idea if any of it is even true !!
  4. 1. No. If you are at the hibachi table there would be an additional charge for anything ordered from the hibachi side even if you have the UDP. So if you are having hibachi and want some sushi, you can certainly get it - for an additional charge - but you are still going to be "paying" for hibachi whether you eat it or not. The single exception to this rule is Star Class. SC can order anything from the Sushi side when they are at hibachi at no additional charge. 2. Yes and no. The full sushi menu IS available but anything you order will be at an additional charge on top of the hibachi fee (or UDP, whichever applies). My guess is that the seating is so limited on the hibachi side that they do not want people sitting there that are not there for hibachi. 3. Can't really help you with this one but I have read of others who were vegetarians and enjoyed Izumi, whatever that is worth.
  5. Did they price protect your cruise ? I haven't heard of this before. Very interesting.
  6. Sorry. Jumping waaay off subject here.... Does anyone know if the Sept. protocols have been published yet ? I don't think they have....but maybe I missed it. Thanks !!
  7. I have done the Chef's Table many times and have always enjoyed it. The problem is that the menu of the Chef's Table changes only rarely so once we've experienced the current menu we generally do not go back until it changes....which can be quite a long time. I feel like perhaps they have changed it since the restart but who knows !! I would say it is definitely worth going when you are SC as you only pay $25 PP for the wine. It takes a whole evening though....so unless you're committed to a very long meal, you may want to think twice.
  8. Yes, they should. I feel VERY confident that they will do the lobster tails without any problem. The key is letting them know ahead of time. Popping it on them without notice will probably cause hesitance. Yes, you are overthinking it. LOL
  9. Hmmm.... @Lovetocruise2002and I must not be talking about the same "lobster". I can't believe she would endorse orange goop. There must be a regular lobster tail that I'm forgetting about !
  10. Hmmm...first I have heard of this. Thanks for that information. I wouldn't have even thought about this being an issue.
  11. That's complete BS if they don't allow them to sail for that reason.
  12. OH NO !!!! The Seafood Tower is a Star Class Right of Passage !! This is heresy !!
  13. Yes, you can use OBC in the casino BUT if you are not at least Prime level in Club Royale, they will charge you a 5% "convenience fee" to use/retrieve it. Actually, @AshleyDillomay have some suggestions on getting your OBC without the fee. I don't play slots so I can't remember the process but I think sometimes you can access your onboard account via the slots.
  14. I guess I will admit that I have just given up trying to track anything. Every once in a while I will ask @michelleto look into a refund that I am anticipating but I pretty much just leave it up to fate. If they owe me something I assume I will get it, eventually. The only refund that I am eagerly watching is the one where 4 FCC's (~$10K) are supposed to be refunded from a cancelled SY cruise. So far, nothing on that one. But all the others ? Who knows....
  15. While I have never repriced after FP for OBC, it is my understanding that there are no limits on the number of times you can reprice.
  16. That's very interesting. So you took the tests with you to Cabo and then used it to come back ?
  17. Is no one planning on using the supervised home tests ? To me that seems so much easier.
  18. LOL. That's too funny. I would love to see the look on the waiter's face when you place that order.... I will say this....each and every ship and restaurant is different. MOST of the time you will have no problem with a specialty order...especially between....say Chops and Giovanni's on an O class b/c those restaurants are in such close proximity. It's pretty darned easy to go over to Chops and pick up a bowl of mushroom soup if you're serving in Giovanni's. That is not necessarily always true on every ship. I have never ever ordered any "outside" specialty food at Izumi. That just seems wrong. But between Chops and Giovanni's. Sure. BTW, I've also asked for red velvet cake when dining in Giovanni's. Yum. Only once have I ever had pushback and that just so happened to be in Coastal Kitchen. On our last Star Class cruise, we were in the CK (can't remember what night but most likely filet night as we usually skip CK when we're SC except for filet night). I asked to have a bowl of mushroom soup. The waiter balked. The manager came over and started to give me nonsense about it being a health code violation. Of course, I knew better. I have done this dozens of time...but I did not give him any attitude. I just thanked him and let it go. In about 5 minutes, here comes my soup. I don't know what changed their minds...not sure if it was the SC thing or if they just decided to do it...but I was grateful and I told both the waiter and the manager how much I appreciated the extra effort. It's a LONG haul from the CK down to Chops to fetch a bowl of soup and I certainly understand their hesitance in doing this during the busy part of the evening meal service. Frankly, I probably won't ever do that again. Oh...and one special note about lobster and the CK. If you ever decide that you want a MDR lobster while dining in the CK (of course this only applies on lobster night in the MDR) be SURE that you ask for the MDR lobster tail. If you just say, "I'll have the lobster" (like I did once !!) you will get some nasty blob of what I assume is lobster or lobster-like substance in an orange gelatinous sauce. Repulsive-looking and worse-tasting. CK does NOT serve the lobster tail....you have to ask for it from the MDR.
  19. Not trying to pry....just wondering why you would choose to eat in the MDR if you have the UDP. If the reason is that you would not want to miss a certain MDR favorite, let me suggest something to you.... Even if you are dining in a specialty restaurant, you can STILL get food from the MDR ! My husband's favorite meal of the cruise is always the lamb shank...but we always purchase the UDP. So on lamb shank night, he will order that, even when we are in one of the specialty restaurants. Same with lobster night, etc. So, (as an example) you are in Chops on lobster night, just ask the waiter to bring you a (or a many as you want !!) lobster tail from the MDR along with your steak. The only thing I would recommend is that when you do this (order MDR food at a specialty restaurant) you let the restaurant know ahead of time that you're going to be ordering MDR food. That way, they will have it on hand and it will not cause them extra stress by taking them off guard. BTW, ordering [MDR] lobster on lobster night in Chops is very common....lots of people do it and they will almost certainly have lobster on hand anyway. Some of the other MDR specialties (lamb shank, for instance) are not as common so it's a courtesy to let them know ahead of time. And OBTW, it doesn't have to just be an entree like lobster or lamb shank either. Very often I will order the cream of mushroom soup as an appetizer even when I am not in Chops. Special note: you can order MDR food in the specialty restaurants and you can cross-order specialty restaurant food in other specialty restaurants but you canNOT order specialty restaurant food in the MDR.
  20. The real question is....will I ever be back on a cruise ?? LOL It's not looking too good, TBH
