Unfortunately, my fridge contains both Truly & White Claw.
Good to know Anthem has Truly for our upcoming cruise ... Although, I'm sure my wife will be all about vodka & coke, frozen drinks, rum drinks, and sangria ... forgetting all about those diet drinks at home. I know Michelob Ultra will not be my first choice on-board LOL!

LOL! You know, I've heard that before, but she loves Stoli Vanilla & coke. Although, I added sprite once to the Stoli Vanilla and that was good - cream soda tasting if I recall (been probably 10 years).

That's what we do, set it, forget it, cry when the statement comes last day.
If you're someone who doesn't like to charge your CC, you could put cash on the account but that becomes a hassle. Either you need to go retrieve it at the end or 'settle up' with them, both seem like a pain to me (waiting in long lines at guest services last day adding to disembarkation stress). What I've done in the past (before I started playing the credit card points game) is whatever cash I didn't use (or lose) I'd put it on my account to make my credit card bill less. I'd do that late at night while the lines are minimal.

On board C&A benefits can change for any level but have been pretty stable over the past couple of years.
    Some D+ perks I like:
30% off drink packages on board.  Typically the very best cruise planner sale might reach 30%, maybe.  I don't have to worry about it now.  If I feel like it I buy it on board, if I don't then I don't.  Plus I can buy it on day 2 or 3 and reduce the cost further. BOGO specialty dining.  Buy a specialty dinner, get one free.  Must be used night one and two. Two free days of Voom Surf or $45 off any package.  For a travelling couple each gets two free days so that's four days between you.  For many that's enough to save buying Voom.  For shorter cruises like a 3 or 4 night it's nearly free internet for the whole cruise. Some ships like Oasis class have a My Time kiosk for D+ and P.  Skip any lines go straight to the D+ kiosk. Some ships offer priority seating in theaters or studio B. Behind the scenes tours including bridge or galley and sometimes both.  Not the same as Full Access Tours sold in cruise compass but all the important stuff.   Some terminals allow D+ into higher priority queues for check in, some group D and D+, but generally speaking some sort of terminal boarding priority one notch higher. Concierge Lounge access while there are still some left in the fleet.  Radiance and Quantum class offer the biggest bang here. Sometimes Vision class as well.

Just be wary when they have the promenade full of "75% OFF SALE" on anything - jewelry, watches, handbags...
It's easy to get caught up in all of the hubbub and before you know it, you just bought a beautiful name-brand watch
that was a great sale, only to find the you could buy it practically anywhere for less money (errr, that's what a friend told me).

    Thank you!
I will look for the private deck door. We are in an aft cabin so that will be more convenient for us.
That is awesome for the dessert. Very sweet?

Congratulations! We took Anthem to Bermuda and were married on the island. A destination wedding via cruise ship with family and friends is the best way to do it, IMO! ?
My tip: If I remember correctly, the entrance to the private sun deck (at least one of them) is aft a bit, inside, just before the bumper cars/basket ball/etc area. We walked past it a few times LOL!
What are your dinner plans, specialty restaurant or CK? The wedding dress should be obvious enough, but definitely let them know you just got married, they will make a big deal about it :). They gave us this cake to share, even though it was the DAY BEFORE we got married, the gesture was still sweet (pun?).

Perhaps..I know if you buy the drinks in the souvenir cups they will charge you for the cup if you have the drink package.  It's different pricing than just the overage because they want to make money on the souvenir cup.  I think they treat the pineapples the same way.
Drinking pineapple drinks was a one-and-done thing for me..it feels like a vacation drink...but ultimately a very fruity, messy, sticky, and low alcohol volume vacation drink ?

Yes you only owe the difference. Not sure how much the pineapple drinks are unfortunately.

I've been trying to find the CocoCay prices but I know on Symphony the pricing for the cocktails in the pineapples were a $12 charge but if you had the drink package they took off $3 and only charged you $9.  It wasn't the same as just paying the overage and the signage for the pineapple cocktails specifically stated that those with the drink package would be charged $9 for the drink.  Now the pineapple cocktails were liquor served out of the fresh pineapples in this case so it may be priced differently for a frozen drink.
Again, haven't found evidence of how it works on CocoCay but they tend to mirror the way it is handled on the ship.
You CAN ask for the drink in a regular cup and that's completely covered under the drink package.

Thanks for sharing this with me. I see the line of cars in one photo... that is why I am getting there early!  Looks like you had a great cruise!  This is only my 2nd ever. We upgraded to a suite as this is the only vacation this year.  We are also getting married during the stop in Port Canaveral on Cocoa Beach. It’s going to be perfect!  We will be wearing our wedding apparel back on the ship for dinner... not time to change after the ceremony anyway. So excited.

That's exactly why I'd never wear one, no matter how great my body looks. However, whether you have the everyday gym bod, dad bod, or even a bit more 'fluffy' there is nothing wrong with owning it.

Yes, conveniently next to the restrooms, which if I remember correctly, have showers.
+1 to the tip about walking a bit for a nice secluded spot. We loved Crystal Caves, very interesting and cool.
We have gone first day and second day never too bad with crowds but we usually travel in September to Bermuda, however, I agree the second day is usually a bit calmer.

You said it, I was thinking it! Ha!
I bought a pair of speedo brand bathing suit (but it's a regular man's bathing suit) just so I can do this joke: "be right back, going to put on my Speedos!" ... They are usually relieved to see a "normal" bathing suit when I return.

In the past year, we have taken Lyft out of FLL many times and have had no issues getting a driver.  Longest wait was about 9 minutes.
However, our last Lyft driver who took us to Terminal A, I had specified "Terminal A Port of Miami" when I requested a Lyft and even then it was quite the challenge to explain to him where we needed to go.  Like @twangster said, English was a challenge so there was a lot of pointing lol.

On Sunday I took Lyft from Port of Miami to FLL.  I also took it from FLL to my hotel in Miami at 3am two weeks before.  Doing it again this Friday.
    No problem finding drivers.
It does help to be specific in Lyft or Uber.  Don't just say "Port of Miami" but specify "Terminal A Port of Miami".  A lot of ride share drivers in South Florida don't speak English.  Having the exact destination in the app saves a frustrating conversation unless you speak Spanish well.

Just going to put this out there, but I happen to like my Speedo (even when I didn't necessarily have the body for it--I feel better about it now because of the fact that I have been working out regularly for the last two years). It's been my experience that some (not all) persons' discomfort with the Speedo is a reflection on their own body discomfort. Let's remember that cruising is an international past time and there are different views on swim wear in other parts of the world.  **getting off my soapbox**

All this said, my husband in one of our contacts with Royal customer service asked specifically about whether or not Speedos were allowed in the pool area and Royal said yes and made no distinction about the family areas versus the adult areas.
