Yep, same. My base for September Anthem sailing was $70 dollars, the sales were consistent for the last year: $56 for 20% and $52 for BOGO50 and as expected the 30% was $49 just a few weeks ago. Now, the BOGO50 is $61 dollars making the base price $81.3333 (repeat).

The types of incidents that make the news are few and far between.  Things can happen with or without alcohol when people perceive someone has done them wrong.  On an increasing basis people are easily offended when they see something that isn't their way of living.  A few people drinking and talking loudly in a hot tub is just good fun and enjoyable to some people but downright outlandish and god forsaking to someone who doesn't drink based on their religion.
I was on a cruise over Super Bowl and didn't observe any outlandish drunken behavior or fights yet people went into a FB group to complain "drunken people were all over the place wreaking havoc on their vacation the whole cruise".

Same here. My max will vary on the length of the sailing but given a 7 night sailing, $55 - $60 is pushing it. After 18% $55 - $60 for two turns into $908.60 - $991.20 and I'm not convinced we will hit $1000 dollars in alcohol even if we drank like we had the package.
My wife drinks more now than when we first started cruising (migraine issues that she's finally getting under control) we were hitting about $500 (give or take). I was also drinking a lot of bud lights back then, I've since stepped it up :). So, I think that $900 range is really pushing it for me. I'd only consider that much on Harmony 2020 cruise because 3 sea days and CocoCay, so we will probably drink a decent amount. (Plus we are celebrating her "29th" bday.)
So, think what I am saying is, my range is $55 - $60 but other variables can tweak that.

I like to use wake up calls especially on sailings where the time may change.  You never know if your phone will actually adjust to the right time at the right part of the cruise.

Exactly why I will just bring plastic straws! However, you've made me realize to spring for the ones individually wrapped so I can toss a few anywhere!
Edit: Just went on Amazon and bought 200 individually wrapped straws for $8.00, I spent a little extra for the colorful ones. With upwards of 14 friends on board, I should buy two boxes LOL!

I like this idea the best. Not that metal straws are expensive, but seems easier to carry a bunch (maybe 10?) on you and just go back to stateroom for more. You can even be kind and give them out. I have no problem reusing a plastic straw (I do it at home), just less worry of losing it or cleaning it or whatever.

Yes to everything @rjac said, especially the luggage tag holders!
Something I do with luggage tags also is attach them to my carry on, just in case I leave my bags unattended (not that I would) we can hopefully reunite. I also keep a lose one on me for record.

sk8erguy1978 got a reaction from raahc in Formal night vs. Chops...
We purposely book Chops (or whatever) on the formal nights so we don't have to get too dressy. We are Jeans and T-Shirt kind of people and at this point in our cruising career, we like to dress nice but over the formal night ordeal. We have also been known to enjoy fine dining in the Windjammer on formal nights :). That's us, we feel like we aren't missing anything different. (For the record, we aren't even really dining room people.)

The May 11 sailing has the ship docking there.  The other itineraries have it tendering.  Not sure but clearly as indicated by the May 11 it can dock there.

It's an overnight so it struck me as odd tendering. Either way, since Bayonne is my "home port" it's one I'm watching.

    Welcome @Ashbee262!
I agree with the renew (as will almost anyone else) but I'd like to add for others stumbling across this, if your passport is less than a year old there isn't a charge to change your name and get a new one. A lesson my wife and I learned ... the expensive way! ?

In the words as sung by Britney Spears...  ? Oops, I Did it Again ?
For those who are wondering what is he talking about?  (or thinking I've enjoyed one too many happy hour drinks)  I just finished 14 nights on this little beauty last week.  You can read about that B2B experience here:
    https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/14213-empress-b2b-14-nights-on-the-biggest-little-ship-july-2019/
Those cruises were great but they were Western Caribbean and this 8 night cruise is Eastern Caribbean including a stop at Tortola in the British Virgin Islands.  Royal hasn't visited the BVI very much in recent years so when I saw the BVI added to the itinerary in the wake of the Cuba cancellations I knew I had to do it.  Icing on my cake comes courtesy of another visit to Perfect Day at CocoCay.
    Itinerary
Miami Perfect Day at CocoCay Sea Day San Juan Tortola St Thomas Sea Day Sea Day Miami Our Perfect Day ends at 2pm so we can make it to San Juan for a 3pm arrival after a day at sea.  We stay until midnight in San Juan so if all goes well I hope to get some evening and night pictures around San Juan.
Sailing in a Junior Suite I have scored one of the most forward deck 9 JS cabins this time.
I love this small ship and her big heart.  It's a good thing I love this ship because this will be my fourth cruise on her.  My Crown and Anchor points haven't been posted yet from my last cruise on her so with the "paint still wet", I'm heading back to the love of my life, or at least the love of my life right now.
Because I'm flying I don't like taking just one cruise so with a night off the water in between, I'm doing a side-to-side over to Majesty right after this cruise.  A few years ago I started dreaming about a tour of the small ships and this marks another step towards completing that goal.
I think I set a record this time having packed my suitcase a full two days before the cruise.  Basically I took my cruise clothes from the dryer and put them right back into my suitcase.
" You see my problem is this
           I'm dreaming away
Wishing that heroes, they truly exist
           I cry, watching the days
Can't you see I'm a fool in so many ways
But to lose all my senses
That is just so typically me
           Oh baby, oh "
Okay that doesn't make total sense but it's the only part of the lyrics that somewhat fit so I'm going with it.
