How has anyone carried this cup on board to make the Freestyle machine work?
Does anyone have a picture of the cup? I might be able to make my own holder.
Can you still get all the drinks that the machine has at any bar using your seapss?
THANKS
The Coke-Cola Freestyle machines read an encoded number off of the cup which are authorized on-board for the duration of the cruise. When the authorization expires, so does your ability to get soda from the machines. As practice, the crew only authorizes new cups for the drink package. I have seen people leave cups laying around by mistake. You might have better luck looking for one of those.

@Pattycruise I was just getting ready to leave the Solarium when the General Alarm (7 short 1 long) went off on Friday afternoon. Very quickly and without any panic many people gathered there personal items and started to leave. Without a quick official announcement I grabbed my towels and returned them to to the towel station. No panic by anyone - all while the blasting alarm was still going off. Next I walked over to the soft serve machine and was able to get my vanilla cone w/o any problem. As I walked away the Anthem Captain personally announced that the alarm was due to a malfunction and it could be ignored. My understanding is that the reason it took a couple minutes before the announcement is that all systems needed to be checked and they needed to make sure no crew member called in the alarm before the Captain could announce all clear. Got this info at dinner in the Coastal Kitchen.
Yes, I agree. It was nice to see everyone remain calm until the issue was sorted out.
And I did see some of the crew, who I guess were part of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) moving deliberately off the decks and into the crew only passageways. My guess is that not all crew members are instructed to leave their posts until told to do so.

@YellowBrickRoad Ceil and I just got off Anthem this morning. We were in Junior Suite 11232 (Sea Class) and went to Coastal Kitchen @ 5:30PM every night! The only requirement is you must make reservations which are subject to availability. Also, it was mentioned you cannot make reservations any more than 24 hours in advance - that means you must take it one day at a time. I am guessing other suites take priority, but that is not stated. FYI, suites were sold out on our sailing and there was plenty of CK availability. Valentino waited on us every night and he was awesome. Also note, Junior Suites cannot do breakfast or lunch at Coastal. Here is a pic from the on-board app which pretty much says this...

You must be doing some Royal math!
Friday morning to Saturday night is 36 hours, not 18.
Left my calculator on the ship...

Sorry, please correct from above...
May 21, 2020 - Anthem (Norwegian Fjords) -> May 21, 2023 - Anthem (Norwegian Fjords).
Yes, that was a typo...

Ceil and I just completed our CVS PCR test for our Sunday cruise. They said we could expect our results tomorrow night (Saturday). Crossing my fingers now. FYI, my health insurance covered the cost. Again I answered the CVS questions this way: yes, no, no, no.
Just got off Anthem today. To follow up, our CVS PCR test worked out exactly as stated. Took the test last Friday @ 10AM and received our results last Saturday @ 10PM - that's 36 hours from test to results. I will no longer be worried about getting PCR test results in time - no need to struggle to find a rapid test in my area. Result was sent by text message as a PDF file which I chose to print. Easy peasy lemon squeezy...

Both of my offers are still in pending status, but it looks like all suites are now sold out for this sailing. Maybe someone got upgrades, but not me. What I don't understand is why is my status still pending if there are no rooms left?

Agree that movies on a tablet (even a phone) are nice for flying, or to kill time when stuck somewhere. Onboard in our room we like watching when getting ready for drinks/dinners/shows. And sometimes at the end of the night to fall asleep to. The idea here is to be able to watch our content off-line, so that wifi & internet aren't needed.

We have downloaded shows and movies on a scan disc. Small to carry, and most cruises we have been on you can just plug it in directly to back of TV. No issues at all.
What is a scan disc and how do they work?

If you have a raspberry pi with something like Kodi installed with a thumb drive plugged into the raspberry pi and the pi hooked to the TV via HDMI i don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. Just make sure the TV output from the pi is set to automatically output the correct resolution. But can you directly output to the TV and play stuff on them. No. I don't think you can. But using a raspberry pi is very easy to setup and will work on just about any TV.
Your Raspberry PI idea sounds great. Nice and compact - no tablet/laptop needed. Can you recommend one? Instead of a USB thumb drive I am guessing I could use a USB SSD drive like this 2TB one. What do you think?

Did they charge for a Minute Clinic visit?
Not sure about barjpoe, but ours this Friday will be paid by insurance. Just make sure you answer the 4 CVS questions this way: yes, no, no, no.

@barjpoe At what CVS did you end up finding the rapid test?

I cannot speak to the Liberty of the Seas specifically, but the tvs will most likely have HDMI. However, sometimes, the HDMI ports and inputs are disabled on the tvs, so you might not be able to switch the input to HDMI1 for example. Nevertheless, it cannot hurt to bring an HDMI cable and try. An alternate option might be if the TV is Chromecast capable. Recently on the Odyssey, the tv was capable and I was able to stream Netflix to it through Chromecast and it worked pretty well (but not perfect).
Hope that helps.
@Peter D Thanks for the info. I have wondered about playing movies direct through a HDMI connector. My guess is that your poor Odyssey ChromeCast experience was ship wifi limited. May I ask why hardware you were using? Thanks...

@MuttMutt Have you ever tried connecting a USB drive or a HDMI media server (like your raspberry pi, NAS, etc) directly to a TV in a royal room? Can you play movies that way? Any ideas on how to do this?

I agree with @Heymarco. That was our experience in November and this current web page confirms it with a chart.

I am in RI. They have a few questions to answer and when done a message comes up with the cost.
Ah, I grew up in West Warwick - I'm a Wizard! Answer yes to the first question (think of it as it not easy to social distance on a cruise ship), then no to the next three and then check the accept. Your insurance should cover it then and it should be free.

I don't like the wording "Not accepted for travel" , but cruising???
Will it be accepted by Royal??
Agreed, I have the same concern. FYI, we signed up for a CVS PCR test, but I am worried about getting the results in time.

Muster Signal set off -system error

@Pattycruise Are we saying eMuster caused the false General Alarm (7 short 1 long) signal on the Anthem? I don't understand the relationship as per the title of this thread.
