  1. Brad, I would love this, please and thank you. I am so glad you did not Goodwill it. Let me know how to get in touch! Contacting ups now Thanks so much though Brad! Denise It is gorgeous!
  2. @spiralqueen I dined on the Harmony at #CK Thanksgiving 2019. I don't remember anything special, I know they were serving a Turkey dinner with stuffing down in the Main Dining room and I believe you could ask for them to get it for you but we just went ahead and enjoyed the #CK menu, the room was electric with happy people and those windows, WOW! It was an amazing reflective evening, realizing how blessed and thankful we were to be there, the staff was so warm also. If I recall there was one extended family who dined in the MDR that evening and then came up to #CK for round 2!
  3. @CrusingfromClayton We were there in June, they closed down the slides when there was lightening detected within maybe 7? miles of the Island. I believe 7 was the number, maybe someone else can confirm, correct? We had a cabana so we were in the waterpark all day and it did rain a decent amount. Everything remained open during the liquid sunshine, it was the lightening that shut them down BUT as soon as it was out of range everything opened right back up.
  4. @CAJ I "enjoyed" this exact scenario on my last sailing before the shut down as well as the first return sailing out of Nassau this June. I bid on 2 and 3 suites respectively, and as we came down to the wire all expired except one. so exciting, was not allowed to modify so I felt I had been blessed by the Royal Up program, but alas on each sailing one expired at 1800hrs and the last one 1900hrs the evening before sailing...bummer. BUT I always book a cabin that works for us going in and I get jazzed "bidding" (maybe I should see someone) so this sailing 21 November 21 I have placed four bids, I visit them on a regular basis lol and have limited expectations, but hey it's sure fun. Good Luck! Can't wait for my next Royal Up email
  5. @AshleyDillowow, you saved me so much headache. Like @SpeedNoodles I had just now caught possible fraud and canceled my card and ordered a new one.. When I placed my AX on my Royal Up bids I realized it expired in November and I wanted to change the card before I was unable to do do BUT I never received my replacement card with my new expiration date, so I called. My card while not used yet was sent and activated in September, wait what?? Not by me. AX confirmed my address and said it was sent USPS first class. Okay therein lies the problem. I was able to cancel my card and order a new one, imagine my surprise when they said they were sending it USPS again, ah no thanks! Moral here you guys saved me a lot of heartache, thank you so much. Oh, the new card is being sent FedEx by Monday, in time to modify my RU bids! Thanks Again!! Great Community here!
  6. @Baked Alaska this is the one I have recorded, is this what you were referring to? www.royalcaribbean.com/booked/cruise-room-upgrade Come on, let's all pull for @SpeedNoodles always so helpful to all of us on here, let's manifest a successful upgrade for her
  7. As a wife my vote is for the SURPRISE! The joy will be priceless!!
  8. Well then, I am sending all my positive energy your way.
  9. @SpeedNoodles I had a similar situation, but have no fear the banks want you to continue to charge while they minimize the fraud..that charge was then just assigned/tethered to the next card with the new number, the fraud department sent me a text confirming it was me. Call the bank ahead of time also they should be able to place a note on your account, Best wishes for the WIN! Can it be modified still? Go in and swop the card out now with another.
  10. I personally have had bids "pending" until 1900hrs the evening before embarkation. I have read on this site just recently someone had a pending and found out it had expired while on the ship at dinner. This is to generate more revenue so I believe the bids are pending as long as they possibly can just in case someone cancels (CWC allows last minute) or some other hurdle that allows a cabin once occupied to be empty. Then they can possibly Royal Up a whole line of people sailing willing to pay a bit more, ship is sailing anyway so why not? I think you should be thinking positive here as the bids are not "expired" yet. Be positive and good luck! I have NEVER WON but I never assume anything concerning the Royal Up game! (My personal experience) Sailing on Oasis of the Seas in November, I have 4 RU bids and only 2 cabins were not booked yet. I bid anyway, just in case they became available. I have a cabin I love but a Star Class cabin has always been a dream, so why not?
  11. We are on the Oasis 21 November 2021. I paid in full the cabin I desired with @Sharlaat the helm. If they change my cabin to something that doesn't work for us, no amount of FCC will be okay. We spend a lot of time in our cabin as a family, and paying for something we would not enjoy makes no sense, I would just request a refund and do a land vacation.
  12. Oh, I would totally like that cabin! Quiet City!!
  13. This^^^^^ I tend to like staying aft, I like the longer walk to the cabin, also the hallway is usually super quiet but un like others the connecting door has been quite noisy any time I had one, I stay away from "arrows" at all costs. Others say they are not a problem, maybe I am just "lucky" to have always been assigned Loudest Family Ever with Screaming Baby next door, so as long as there is no arrow should be good, but I also like the aft views, I know no view but nice and dark. Not sure about the vibrations but on 9 probably not much of an issue. What Cabin # ?
  14. Yes, I know! My MEI TA is @Sharla and she showed me, broke it down. There are 3 of us and it was probably close to a little more than $100.00 each in port fees and taxes each added to the 2021 taxes and fees. Inflation from 2021 to 2022! At least my sailing was price protected, the sailing fare itself was double the cost.
  15. I did a lift & shift after my 01 August 2021 Allure was cancelled, again like you paid in full. My new sailing is 31 July 2022 & now I owe $726.27, it's an Eastern Caribbean and those monies are listed as taxes & fees.
  16. Thanksgiving 2023, as a family we need this time to plan, any idea when these itinerary's will be available? Does anyone have any historic releases available, not just "sometime in November?" Thanks so much! Specifically sailings out of Florida & Port Liberty NJ
  17. C & A Gifts? May I inquire when does this amenity start, is it Diamond and above?
  18. I really want to use this offer, so I cancelled all 4 Royal up bids (because it would not allow me to change my credit card) and re-bid a little bit more and placed the American Express as payment. This way IF, BIG IF I actually "win" I feel great knowing I utilized this great offer, if not which is usually always the case I will enjoy the great cabin I have as well as visit the Next Cruise desk with that American Express vibrating in my pocket, win win. It's just so nice to even see offers like this again. (Not sure but I may have shot myself in the foot though as since I had to cancel and then re bid I'm sure I placed myself at the bottom of the bidding que) but in 42 days being on the ship will be just wonderful, Oh my husband wanted to know if the genie stayed in a bottle in our room! (Funny guy) We have only sailed Sky so a Star experience is in my dreams....
  19. So, this is my plan...bring my AX card on my sailing in 43 days. Book a new sailing on board, get the perks plus the AX perk by placing 1,500.00 down on the sailing. Then return home and transfer it to my TA, yes? Maximizing benefits at all angles, will this work?
  20. I have it also and really have no more sailings to book...but I checked it anyway. I figured if they saw I was interested at least maybe they would send me another in the future. Well, unless the Wonder comes back here to Florida November/December 2022 and has a southern itinerary, then I may be swayed...
  21. @AjG also, use extreme caution when making purchases. My dumb@ss move, I am so embarrassed but if I can help anyone else. Cozumel, June 2021 off the ship and shopping I purchased an eye serum that I researched before hand for what I was told was 350.00 but it was amazing, right? Then I looked and after tax and everything else my credit card was charged 400.00, okay my bad...but it gets worse. The package was beautifully wrapped, just gorgeous so I did not open until I arrived home in the States, utilized the little samples they gave me, well you guessed it arrived home to an empty tube! Totally my fault I should have checked, I felt so violated. After over a month working with the credit card after a dispute I could not ultimately prove so I lost the dispute loosing the $400.00. I hate that the world is still like this and again MY FAULT I should have checked but be aware sadly they saw me coming a mile away, boy oh boy my loving husband will not let me forget, just be careful. @Reigert2008says pay with the small bills when using cash also, they will use interesting math to make change. Just be aware, I will continue to enjoy my port shopping just being a bit less trusting.
  22. What a terrible outcome, yet just one more reason to use a TA. @Sharlasent me specific emails every single time we experienced a cancellation during this crazy time AND always had options ready for us. I fear as they sent the email and you didn't open it they may not budge but @SpeedNoodlesis correct I usually get a pretty quick response on their Twitter messaging. So as bad as that is they cancelled so you will get your monies refunded, April is a great time to sail so reach out to your preferred travel professional, MEI is a wonderful example and research if they have any group sailings where the rates are discounted. In addition they WILL WATCH for additional price drops and incentives along the way, you can turn this around I promise you. ( note, I am not a TA nor do I play one on TV but boy oh boy I have a great one now). Please come back and let us know how it goes. AND open every single email from them always if just to scan before deleting, I know it is cumbersome but this way you can avoid disappointment in the future. Good Luck, have an amazing new adventure you can turn this around, be well
  23. @mathbees I am very curious as I Royal Up bid every sailing and never have been successful. I know there are many things that go into the calculations on the company side but were you successful with a minimum bid? A maximum bid? Somewhere in the middle? Thank you so much, and have an amazing time!
  24. We just had an aft on the Adventure of the Seas, it was magnificent. If there is an aft, I tend to choose them. Some vibration ever so slight when docking. Amazing views!
