  1. It is so so very easy now and I always here the announcement "We can not Sail until everyone..." Saw this on someone's door early the morning after we sailed this week.
  2. Yes - - well at least they have always given it to me for my 150% Solo sailings <= 5 days $50 6-13 days $100 >= 14 days $250
  3. @Bowen didn't you have a manual passport check when disembarking because they couldn't get the Facial Recognition system forking on Sunday causing the delay disembarking.
  4. Just an FYI last week at the new Galveston terminal for the first time I remember this year they were not laying anyone that did not have first boarding time of 11 to even enter the serpentine line outside before opening. I belive that after boarding started a little after 11, once the terminal waiting area cleared and people were walking directly on board the were not as strict. So seems you're better off arriving close to your checkin time
  5. My last 3 cruises beginning in March they have replaced the 2 sided magnet with a single side that only says "do not disturb" Every cruise on the survey I have commented that I want the 2 sided magnet back I have actually asked the HMO for it back and had on delivered to my cabin. Actually on a 7 night cruise I only get service on day 3 or 4 and carry my plates etc to an area that collects them like Windjammer. Then if b2b I let them change on dat 7 before TAD Heck my wife doesn't clean that often home
  6. Depends upon the venue, comedy club sold out pre-cruise it is. other shows maybe avalible when you board
  7. Since the move to starlink there is only one internet plan offered
  8. 17 street SE Fort Lauderdale Holiday Inn Express Renaissance Embassy suites Close Crown Plaza Anything in that area works depending what you want
  9. @Matt you really need to do a blog article about the minuses or maybe pluses if you can find the of interporting cruises in the Med. Have been a long, 8 years maybe, reader and all I have ever heard have been negatives and didn't even realize there was such a thing until a little over a year ago
  10. Gelashe and Mark are doing a great job bringing Central Park back. Apparently Miami is still discussing whether the trees will be replaced for the Presidents cruise in July, or more cost effectively when ship returns to Ft Lauderdale later this year, being replaced by Harmony at Galveston.
  11. Just an FYI, I choose Early and always request and get a table for 2 and eat alone when solo.
  12. That is part of the reason that 5:30 Traditional has been creeping up to 5:00. Now if on deck 3 they would just enforce the dining room closes at 5:15 we could easily accommodate al the 6:30 MTD crowd. If you have Early Traditional Dining especially on deck 3 show up on time! Hate leaving at 5:45 and having to watch you nonchalantly wonder in !! How entitled are you?
  13. @Kraatosgow @WAAAYTOOO is exactly right, let the Suite Concierge do it for you. I usually did it sometime the day I wanted dinner and told them what time I wanted it delivered. I would expect it could shows up about 15 minutes either way of the specified time. Mine have alway been just a little after the time and has always been warm both cruises for me.
  14. Sorry @FireFishII I mistakenly read you 2 seperate paragraphs a separate trains of thought. The 2nd stateing you could not do it unofficially either. Which you can do unofficially by use of room key only cards, and that will not affect billing or muster stations. Sorry, have a great cruise
  15. Guess it is what airport or area your flying out of, typically from Chicago O'Hare it costs about the same to fly to San Juan as it does to Ft Lauderdale or Miami. At least that has been our experiance, we love going out of San Juan, but hate that they have done away with Freedom and Voyager class ship from there and lately have been sailing Radiance class which we dislike.
  16. Just coffee, ie espresso machine No soda except during the evening HH
  17. As @Matt said when you enter the new Galveston terminal doors stay right go up that set, double, escalators and again follow the right wall. Suites and Pinnacles have a separate security scanner with a big sign you almost can't miss. This works for JS cabins also
  18. Those are much better than the "all n one" that's in balcony and below cabins
  19. They still print a limited number of cruise companies, tell your room steward you want a printed copy the first day and they will see you get one
  20. The UDP can be hit or miss depending on the ship and sailing date. The good news is if when you board and getting reservations is difficult and not to your liking, they will gladly allow you to cancel that package for a fully refundable OBC
  21. @FireFishII your statement is not accurate. Look at @jticarruthers post just proceeding yours to see you CAN move between cabins unofficially successfully
  22. Correct, I belive that Management does not want them to ask / beg for 10's. The reason the survey ask who did that by position Reminders to complete the survey is acceptable
  23. I'm pretty sure the OBC from BoA CC points is refundable OBC and therefore if un spent it is returned to the CC you have on file for expenses. It cannot be returned to points. If you want it on your Cruise Planner to spend immediately, like pre-cruise calling to redeem points is the way to go.
