  1. Then the question will be if the converted OBC will be refundable. I'm guessing it will be, but that's just a guess.
  2. It appears only the "extra" amount over and above your cruise fare will be turned into OBC. Since you likely have multiple different FCC certificates, you just apply the amount you need to cover the cruise and keep the rest for later.
  3. I didn't say cheapest, just easiest And the ability to get as small an amount as you want is helpful.
  4. Easiest is to exchange dollars for pesos at the airport, if you're flying. Pesos are so common that any airport that has accommodation exchange will have them available. Then you can just do a small amount if you like as well.
  5. Welcome to the boards! Yes, the bottle discount applies to any wine bottles on the ship. Enjoy!
  6. I see all the Grandeur sailings in Jan'23 when I search. I'd blame it on a temporary glitch and not worry about it.
  7. This is true, for health code rules, but nothing stops you from taking a plastic cup (or two) full of water and pouring that into your bottle. I see people do this regularly.
  8. Welcome to the boards! She will need a visa for Nicaragua and Colombia. Neither country recognizes a green card for travel on its own. It is also very possible she will not even be allowed to board without those visas, regardless of whether she plans to get off the ship or not.
  9. I got an inexpensive pair (like about $10) off Amazon that pack very small and wouldn't make me cry if I lost them. I don't expect they'll last long, but they've covered me for 3 cruises so far. I just like the extra confidence I have in them, with less time spent staring at the ground worrying about what I might step on.
  10. They will need to use coupons. Suite guests' drinks are free there. I don't know about Pinnacles.
  11. Welcome to the boards! I have not heard of anyone spying the Seafood Tower since the restart. I suspect it is gone for good. Also, the app does not show it on the menu for the current sailing of Explorer.
  12. You will not be charged for proctoring.
  13. We always do traditional seating. As a courtesy, we let our servers know if we will be gone the next night due to specialty dining, late shore excursion, or whatever. They appreciate knowing ahead, but it is not mandatory.
  14. You may or may not have to get off, depending on what CBP requires on that given day. If you do, you will reboard immediately. Often there is a lunch for B2B cruisers -- they will mention it on your B2B flier if so. You pack your loose items in your suitcases, and then your cabin steward will move your bags and your hanging items to your new cabin for you. Basically, just keep your valuables with you, just like boarding (passport, wallet, etc). Enjoy that night of seeing suitcases outside in the hall and knowing you get to stay onboard!!
  15. Well, curaçao comes from Curaçao, so there’s that! We went to the distillery and had a fun visit.
  16. The Shareholder benefit kicks in at 100 shares, there is no prorate for less than 100.
  17. Actually no, non-suites cannot order from the MDR menu, only the Room Service menu. (Unless they're in quarantine and then they can, plus it's free.)
  18. Money is money. I bet they take whatever they can get. If they were worried about too low they would not let the minimums be so low.
  19. Pompeii, unless you've already been to Herculaneum.
  20. The eMed/Binax Now test does not require an appointment. Most I've ever waited was 90 seconds.
