Sarento's is right across from the pub. I love hanging out there at night listening to the guitarist and drinking. When he takes a break every hour I would go over and get a few slices. It would be great if the pub served greasy food like fish and chips or chicken strips.

I was on Harmony a few weeks ago. I had a check in time at 11. I never had anyone ask or check my boarding time. I'm not sure if when you talk to the person when you show them your passport and answer some questions, they might see your time and will make you wait if you are early. They have the check in process so streamlined and smooth there's hardly any wait time.

I don't like to eat a lot also. When I eat too much carbs and salt at once I feel like crap after. I stick to the Windjammer because I can get a plate full of what I know I can eat. Now late night pizza is something I don't have self control over. lol

I'm currently on Harmony. I haven't smelt it from my balcony but people are smoking in the smoking area. When the ship sounded the horn when we left FL there was a huge wave of weed smell. Like when the lights go out at the start of a concert. I don't have a problem with it and nobody should as long as it's in a designated smoking area.

I did some of my own "research" on a popular adult video site. I can confirm there are a bunch of them, a few on royal ships. I don't know why it would be an issue unless they were really loud or in port. You're on vacation, have some fun. I personally haven't done anything on a balcony, but have gotten to second base on the elevator once with a stranger I met at the bar.

I think a small buffet that's open from 10pm to 3am would be a huge hit. They could just serve something like burgers and fries, mexican and chinese food. Really anything you would order on a late Friday or Saturday night after going to the bars.

Those are only on ships where the drinking age starts at 18. Mad Dog really takes me back.

I don't understand why moderate drinkers that don't need the drink package like to complain about the price. I don't complain about the dining package because there's no way I could eat that much every night so I would never get it. I can easily drink 8 to 12 beers or mixed drinks a day so $80 works for me.

I'm on Harmony soon and Sabor has tequila flights. They are $19. Why don't they charge $14 so the DBP covers an order? Ordering three individual shots would be covered since they would be under $14.

How are the beaches near Long Beach? Do they have bars and restaurants and other things to do?

You could go up there after the bars close and pass out for the night. If any one asks, you're stargazing. One thing I've always wanted to do but I'm always too hungover is watch the sunrise from the pool deck. Maybe go up there and watch the sunrise, put your stuff on a chair, go sit in the hot tubs for awhile or hit the Windjammer. That's something I might try.

It's still a good deal if you are going to drink a lot of mixed drinks with some beers mixed in.

It would be cool if they took some of the better smaller ships and refurbished them and made them adults only. Similar to Vigan. I like the bigger ships but would go on a smaller one without kids. Even though they don't bother me too much it would still be nice.

Kids would love a substitute teacher!

Have you done it and what did you think? I signed up for it for my January stop. I've never tried surfing before and really want to before I get too old. I can't find reviews or vlogs of this excursion.

I did this on my last cruise with the 3 night dining package. It was sold out. After I canceled it and went to rebook it, it was still sold out. I checked back an hour or so later and it had one spot left. I booked it, but someone else could have gotten it before I did. I wouldn't do it unless it's a huge saving or you're willing to risk losing your booking.

This must be what it was like trying to get Taylor Swift presale tickets. The DBP is showing 35%off and buy one get one 50%off in cart like everyone else. I tried to get the water bottle package but it wouldn't let me. If the deals last for the next week, they'll get it figured out.

Do the cruise terminals require them? Like Miami or Fort Lauderdale.
