  1. I'll be on Serenade in May 2022 in a Junior Suite, also under the Windjammer, lol. I stayed directly under the Windjammer on Navigator once and never heard a noise from it.
  2. I'm impressed. I don't even know 19 people, much less have 19 family members, lol.
  3. Spoken by someone who isn't a first responder ? I know it was meant in jest, but seriously...no.
  4. Will an Uber or Lyft do such short trips (like from the Holiday Inn or Country Inn & Suites) to the Port?
  5. :::::: slowly opens a drawer a quarter inch and walks away ::::::
  6. According to Matt's article, it says "The CDC does make allowances for guests to remove their masks in venues and events dedicated to fully vaccinated parties.". That seems pretty clear to me that it means maskless in those venues. And it seems like there are an abundance of vaccinated only venues. Unless I'm missing something.
  7. Hopefully it's not the deep nasal swab testing. According to Sheri (CruiseTipsTV - who sailed on Adventure last week), her 11-year-old son had 4 or 5 covid tests prior to/during their sailing and none of them were the deep nasal swabs, so that bodes well, hopefully.
  8. I booked Jr Suites over the next year for the double points. It was worth it to me.
  9. @WAAAYTOOOis on Allure for 2 weeks, then I'm on for a week, then you get on for a week. We did NOT coordinate this very well, ladies!!!
  10. I'm so glad that it's going to work out for you, and I think your perspective will be very valuable! Yay!!
  11. Plus, the way i look at it, I can book with a TA and that person gets paid by Royal, or Royal keeps it all. I like Royal and all, but I'd rather have a small businessperson benefit a bit from my bookings, plus I benefit as well.
  12. Until they got the emergency bells tonight and they all had to report to their muster stations! Luckily it was a false alarm, but it sounded scary, from what people described! (Happened while they were in the pub (singing "Alice", of course).
  13. I really hate these exaggerated, clickbait YouTube titles.. It's why I stopped following a bunch of them that write them that way all of the time (I won't name names).
  14. At first I thought about deleting the non post, but, after reading the comments, I think it's too valuable to get rid of.
  15. Sounds like someone I might be able to understand (no strong Norwegian accent, lol).
  16. Confirmed that she is in port at least partly to vaccinate crew.
  17. If you're already a Crown & Anchor member, call their number and see if they can give you any guidance. They're typically more reliable than the main number.
  18. Symphony is currently in Miami, likely continuing the vaccination of staff and picking up provisions. She is scheduled to do test cruises on August 1-3. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2020/11/10/everything-you-need-know-about-royal-caribbean-test-cruises
  19. November is quite a long time from now, as far as cruise protocols go. With as frequently as things have been evolving later, I think it's just too early to expect answers to all of these questions. Final payment isn't even due until early August, and Cruise With Confidence protects you until 48 hours prior to sailing.
  20. The way I understand the PSVA is that a foreign-flagged vessel cannot transport passengers within the US (from US port to US port) without visiting a foreign port. If they started in Hawaii, went to Vancouver, and then to Seattle, they'd have visited a foreign port. So I'm still confused (which, if will not surprise those who have become familiar with me here over the years).
  21. You can also put down a deposit at NextCruise and have a period of time in which to book it (I can't remember the timeframe, but you could put money down, secure a smaller deposit and OBC and choose your sailing at a different time). At least that was offered during my past few cruises.
  22. Why can't Americans do the Vancouver to SEA sailing? They can take a ferry from Washington to Victoria, BC - I guess I don't understand the difference (Sorry to hijack the thread).
