  1. All of my cruises have gone up in price. I've typically snagged them at a decent price to begin with, so I try not to get jealous when I read others getting price drops.
  2. We've decided to go back down into lockdown mode for 2 weeks prior to our sailing, lol. Not that we've actually been to a party in well over 3 years anyway, but we'll avoid going into restaurants. I suppose we HAVE to go to work (dangit), but that's pretty low risk for me. Have a fantastic time on your cruise!
  3. Let's keep the discussion on the main topic of getting tested 2 vs 3 days prior to cruising, and leave the debate about what the PCR/antigen/antibody tests are, or are not, to another corner of the internet, please.
  4. If the agent is part of an agency you could ask to be switched to a different agent within the company.
  5. I guess, although I've never had any trouble getting one. The longest I've had to wait is 15 minutes.
  6. This is where the self-administered, proctor-supervised, at-home tests will come in handy. We'll be traveling 2 days prior to our next cruise, so having the self-administered tests that we can do in the hotel will be a relief.
  7. My luck would be my kid breaking his leg playing soccer the morning of embarkation. No way would I risk it, lol.
  8. You only pay the difference. On Oasis and Quantum Class ships the DBP covers up to $13. On other classes of ships it's rare to find a drink over $12. I've never had to pay extra on any drink with the DBP, regardless of class of ship.
  9. Be sure if you call you are calling the Crown & Anchor number and not the general Royal Caribbean number. (800) 526-9723 [email protected]
  10. Here's Danny Harr's video tour of one of them. You could ask in the comments. He doesn't say whether he's in the J3 or J4 (he did say in the comments that it isn't the J1) but he seems to answer his comments.
  11. You and me both! I don't sail until the end of January.
  12. I traded an Owner's Suite on Empress for an Owner's Suite on Odyssey. Win ?
  13. So the lesson here is schedule the first one at CVS and the 2nd at Walgreens, I guess.
  14. The Roll Call threads on this site are pretty new and not used heavily yet. If you want to reach out to (or even just see) more people on your sailing, check Facebook or Cruise Critic and see if you find more people who are talking about that sailing.
  15. While I really do like The Key (at the right price), the private hours are usually at really crappy times and I've never gone to any activity set aside for The Key. It's definitely not a reason that I'd get it.
  16. As long as they give me a bigger closet and double points they can call it the red-headed stepchild of suites and I'll be fine with it.
  17. So, yeah ... The Quest. When I was on Navigator in Dec 2019 with some girlfriends we were at The Quest when we got quite a show. The task was "find a piercing". Well, one guy had his junk pierced, he pulled down his pants, and the camera happened to be right on him. So it wasn't just in full view, it was zoomed in upon and broadcast, lol.
  18. Good idea. It says "suite" on the cruise planner, but "Stateroom" on my Set Sail Pass, so I'll just stick with my chosen boarding time and not risk being turned away. I have a 1pm boarding time anyway, so NBD. Thanks!
  19. Full suites only? I assume Jr. Suites are not included in this.
  20. I'd dump FB if it wasn't for the RCB Insider's page and all of my dog show folks. I unfriended/blocked all family and work associates, and I have no friends, lol.
  21. They also respond with Twitter, which is a much less intrusive format to have an account with.
