  1. You can use your set sail pass (that you used to check in) for anything on the ship before getting your SeaPass card. They will be on your stateroom door, so you won't have them until cabins are ready.
  2. You can toggle between the two. That's what I do.
  3. Are you in an Owner's Suite (Sky Class?) or Owner's Loft Suite (Star Class)?
  4. Mr. SpeedNoodles uses this on our cruises. It works well (Bonine and Dramamine just put him to sleep).
  5. We had no problem at Chops, Jamie's, or Giovanni's, so it's apparently ship dependent.
  6. You could try, but there's no guarantees you'd be successful. "On boarding day, guests may bring onboard two (2) 750 ml bottles of personal wine or champagne per stateroom in their carry-on luggage. If more than two bottles of wine or champagne are brought onboard, including any alcoholic beverages purchased in ports-of-call or in our onboard shops, they will be stored by the ship and delivered to your stateroom on your last day onboard." https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/onboard-alcohol-guest-policy
  7. Yes, if the restaurant is open you can use your UDP for it. Enjoy!
  8. There's often post-cruise excursions that occupy at least a few hours of your time and deliver you, and your luggage, to the airport later that day. That's what we've decided to do in Boston to keep us out of Logan Airport for a little while.
  9. I would personally not wear flip flops in the MDR or any specialty restaurant. The Windjammer would be fine. If you make reservations for the MDR you shouldn't battle too long of lines. There will be no lines if you have Traditional Dining. I would count on the Windjammer being a mad house - I've personally never experienced it otherwise, therefore I now always avoid it.
  10. We are first responders, and while they do have a discount for law enforcement, we've never gotten a discount. I believe discounts cannot be stacked and there's pretty much a price promotion 24/7 so we've just never gotten it. I don't know that I've ever seen a health professional discount, but I doubt you'd actually ever see it applied if they did.
  11. Travel agents make nothing from booking flights, so it's kind of like asking them to work for free.
  12. Your travel insurance should cover it. You may also have coverage through whatever credit card you booked the cruise with - you'll have to check and see if your card offers that, but check your travel insurance for sure. You can read your cruise contract, which are in the EDocs that you received prior to your cruise, for Royal's liability. If I'm reading it right, they have more liability if you sail out of Europe, but I only had time to skim it. "b. Liability for Loss of or Damage to Baggage. Unless negligent, Carrier is neither responsible nor liable for any loss of or damage to Passenger’s property, whether contained in luggage or otherwise."
  13. I moved your post to General Discussion since it really doesn't fit the Roll Call section and more people will see it.
  14. Matt confirmed that there was no podcast this week.
  15. I asked the same thing over on Facebook. Someone said there was, and screen shot it off of his device, but I can't find it on my Spotify app or my Google Podcast app. @Matt?
  16. Ignore the percentage off. Just look at the price per person, per day. If you don't think you'd spend that much each day on drinks (it includes alcoholic beverages, premium coffees, fresh-squeezed juices, smoothies without protein powder at the Vitality spa) then you may be better off paying a la carte or just getting the Refreshment Package (includes all of the above except alcohol). This is a handy tool to help decide if it's worth it for you: https://cruisetipstv.com/estimator/
  17. Only carry-on size things should/can be brought through the check-in process as you'll be going through security screenings, probably up escalators, etc - full-size luggage won't fit through the security scanners (think airport screening). Smaller bags can be taken to the Key drop off. Enjoy!
  18. Fill out this form ahead of time to get a real refrigerator for medication. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/resources/guest-special-needs
  19. Always ignore the percentage off. Just keep track of the price per person per day and track that.
  20. Please direct message each other here on the forums, rather than posting contact info on boards. You can access direct messaging by clicking on the "screen name" of the other person. Thanks!
  21. Sorry, I don't buy this. I don't believe there's any sort of guest profile that follows you from cruise to cruise beyond your C&A status. Nothing in my experience backs that up. Plus I only use the envelopes maybe 1/4 of the time as I usually just hand cash to the crew.
  22. On Allure they brought us lobster in Giovanni's. On Odyssey, the waiter at Jamie's told us that they were not allowed to do it (and he was just devastated to have to tell us that, he was so apologetic, no matter how many times I told him that I understood and to not worry about it). So, it just varies.
