  1. Perfect example of why to just use a GOOD travel agent and let them deal with this sort of thing.
  2. Here are the reviews from Trip Advisor. They do appear to have sloths. I did a cursory look through the photos (although I didn't look at all 1,000+ of them) and didn't see anyone holding any sloths. Macaws and Capuchin Monkeys, yes, but no sloths. As a retired zoo keeper, working with exotics for nearly 20 years, I don't really think this is a bad thing, though. Not all animals are suited to being passed around all day by humans - it can be very stressful for them (I know, a lot of places do it - doesn't mean it's a great idea). It looks like a fun place - I'm kind of jealous! I might have to take a look at this place for when I visit Roatan (minus the zip line). https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g292019-d649528-Reviews-Gumbalimba_Park-Roatan_Bay_Islands.html

  4. I just booked Allure for 1/23/2022!! 741 days to go, lol. At some point I’ll even tell Mr. SpeedNoodles that I booked it. That day is not today.
  5. i looked at this one! I have no info for you, but hope you keep us updated on how it goes!
  6. I wonder if they moved Navigator - it's showing up on my ShipMate app as visiting on the 29th of April now.
  7. I"m glad you asked, I was wondering, too. Star Class? Southern Caribbean? Sassy Cruisers?
  8. Awwwww, bummer! I actually had a bid on a GS for my Feb Symphony sailing. I withdrew it when I realized that our current cabin number matched MrSpeedNoodle's birthday, and, considering last time he went the wrong cabin and tried to get in for several minutes, I thought this was just way too handy to risk giving up.
  9. Welcome to the forums! And it's perfectly normal to want to know where your room is. The waiting is the hardest part (or so said Tom Petty).
  10. Thanks! I have been looking at it, but the prices have been higher than what I see on the airline sites. But I totally forgot that they could be canceled, so I'm definitely going to go back and look again - that's not a bad strategey!
  11. I don't know - it was never confirmed by the OP that they checked with them if they did get it through Royal Up. They just said they'd never heard of it - but it appears to be available in the UK. Maybe the friends did Royal up but the OP doesn't want to make it awkward to ask, so there's just lots of speculation going on? https://www.royalcaribbean.com/gbr/en/booked/cruise-room-upgrade
  12. Probably true. Some of the flights are marked "sold out" for many of the flights already (all in the basic fare, which I can't do because I can't choose my seats and I need to sit next to my husband because he has flight phobia). so I start getting a little nervous.
  13. Holy cats - I'm glad I got a promotion at work because the airfares to Boston from Mpls are high! I'm hoping they come down, but really, what are the chances?
  14. @Matt rented one in Bonaire last week. You can read his blog here: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2020/01/03/freedom-of-the-seas-live-blog-day-6-bonaire
  15. I'd throw them a parade if they went back to this way of doing it.
  16. It's available, I just looked at a refundable fare on Allure for Jan 2021. But you have to do what @Lovetocruise2002 said and go through the entire process of entering names/dob, etc. It's a total PITA and I wish they'd show both prices before you go through all of that. I use aliases when I do it.
  17. He's not kidding - this is what they delivered to us on Ovation. We actually ended up not having to use it because Ovation has an outlet next to the bed, but at least we had it if we needed it.
  18. The $218 price is correct. That $152 price isn't a thing, though. If you actually go into it and look, the cheapest fare is $477 for an Oceanview Guarantee.
  19. No, but it's worth it to scan yourself because it takes a half a second and ensures accuracy,
  20. You can, but they will hold it for you until the end of the cruise - you can't bring it back to your cabin. I believe they deliver it to your cabin on the last night (so you can pack it).
  21. I'm currently going back and forth about booking a Jr Suite on Allure for winter 2022. I'd sure love the space ... and a chance to maybe try Coastal Kitchen. But is it worth the extra $1k? (I know, only I can answer that question, lol). MrSpeedNoodles would say no, but he also says "book whatever makes you happy".
