Agree. Try calling again.  For each room, you should be able to move it as long as same category.  We did this both times with a guarantee room. Giot assigned a forward room and moved each to more central (different cruises).
So you should be able to move each...and if there happens to be 2 next to each other, or even closer in proximity of same category room, they should be able move the rooms.  But of course, this depends on availability.

I just looked at the deck plan and see what you mean...how rooms on deck 17 are more isolated...so great for minimal traffic.  And can imagine the views of the 2 level lofts.  
Will be interested in your thoughts after you try the ATS.  They do look amazing and really spacious!  So hopefully you'll find it not as inconvenient as you are thinking and a great alternative room.

Just arrived JFK and saw boarding delayed until tomorrow. We’re ok with that.  Booked 1 night at the Newark Courtyard. So we ended up flying in 1 day early after all !  Lets hope they cancel Nassau and not Coco Cay !

I am in your same boat, I repriced all of my cruises with the new WOW sale and came out on top. All except for half an October liberty sailing. I repriced my GTY Balcony and saved a whopping $8 but I got $100 OBC. So I am actually up $108. I already brought the refresher package because I knew I might only have 1 alcoholic drink a day. So this credit has me covered.
I have another room booked, an interior GTY, the new price is $28 more but you do get a $75 OBC. I am trying to decide if it is worth it. I would come out with $46...which I guess is better than nothing.

I literally just did this yesterday for my Sept Harmony sailing. Being in a suite, I got a $300 OBC after rebooking. So while the price "increased" $140, I am "saving" $160 with the $300 OBC.
Granted, I had not really planned to spend $300 on the ship, so I'm not really saving anything technically, but actually just spending more. But no mater, now I get to feel less guilt about spending that credit...or better yet, I may just use that to give better tips if the service warrants it. Now if you really want to get technical, by giving RCI more money up front, you are actually losing the interest you'd earn by saving that money until the end of the cruise to pay off the account, but that's just splitting hairs and really we're talking about saving less than a dollar on interest. End of the day, this is all just the psychology of influence (getting people to feel good about spending more).

$50 each is worth up to 30 minutes of effort in making the change.

I have made these adjustments as well. I'd rather have a few more dollars in my pocket than theirs.

IMO, if the overall cost of the cruise comes down, even if the cruise fare increases, it is still a "win".

I've only been on 2 cruises. One was the Disney Dream the other was Harmony of the Seas. Royal is more my speed. I really liked the size and features of the ship.
 
I have not been of fan of any of the ports in the Caribbean and Bahamas outside of the private owned islands, castaway cay / coco cay.
 
I would probably enjoy the Canadian ports more but honestly I'm more interested in the ship. I could see my daughter not enjoying the Canadian ports at all.
 
The amp up on freedom looks nice but not sure I'd get much use out of that new pool deck in october by Canada lol. I'll have to double check the itenteraries again to see if there is something else in summertime. Or suck it up and go south again

Time of year depends on which itenterary and ship we pick really. If we go into the Bahamas or Caribbean I would do with sometime between March and June. If it's a  Canadian destination, probably around October.
 
 

In nearly 50 cruises with Royal Caribbean the worst thing I've encountered was a drawer with the previous occupant's underwear in it.  We found the room attendant and had it removed but never have I ever been concerned about bugs.  If there WERE bedbugs in that room at any time and Royal Caribbean was made aware of it, trust me, the entire room would have been fumigated and the mattresses tossed.

DH is leaving work now, and we should be on the road in about an hour. Right now, we should be clear until we get to the outskirts of Houston and even then it just looks like light rain. MIL's flights are both on time, and she's probably going to beat us there by about an hour... unless we hit traffic...in which case she can start her vacation early at the airport bar. ??

Anyone else find that pricing is just going up and up at CoCO Cay?  As an example, the waterpark tickets on Anthem is $150 CAD.  Seriously???  We probably hit a record (not one you want to get).  I guess my Harmony cruise is a deal at $131 CAD.
We're fortunate that we booked awhile ago for Anthem and Mariner, but we won't be getting the waterpark going forward (not yet booked on Harmony - we will enjoy the pool and beach that day).
And then, never mind about the cabanas at $2660 CAD for the floating one.

My ship has arrived.  Phew.  The cruise can commence.


Distinct haze in the air today that wasn't present yesterday or the day before.


That haze isn't clouds or smog.  It's that smokey.


You can't see it in this picture as well as you can see it live but there is a haze in the air and the distinct smell of bushfires that grew stronger as the morning came to life.

We really enjoy the food in the MDR and the whole experience (e g. You get to know your waiters).  We even cancelled our last BOGO as it was a short cruise and we didn't want to miss half our meals in the MDR.

Getting use out of that slide. Dont care how windy or cold the water is!
