Jolly Ogre got a reaction from deep1 in Diamond drinks?
That is what my wife does and to remember getting bottled water before you turn in for the night as to not to lose the voucher.

Yes you can get non alcoholic drinks. The vouchers are loaded on your seapass card & reset at 5am each day. They are use it or lose it and do not carry over. Prior to getting your card, just give them your cabin number. We always tip a dollar or two as tips are not included.

I think they might be getting tighter on the dates when they release them online. Aprils code wasn't active to view until April 1, so May might not be available to view until May 1. In the past you could usually view them a couple of weeks before the start of the month.

Welcome to Gulf Coast, Southeast lowlands and the Caribbean.

Those are sandfleas and/or noseeum bites.
Sit on a beach anywhere in Florida, the Caribbean or anywhere with a beach and you're most likely going to end up with them

Jolly Ogre reacted to twangster in Single travellers costs
This my summer strategy when the reduced single supplement for being over 340 points is blacked out.
I used to sail solo on other lines in the summer. Now I sail solo casino comps in the summer.

Jolly Ogre got a reaction from WAAAYTOOO in Oasis: Showing Age but Still Fun
We have been on Oasis 3 times and loved it every time.
The only exceptions are that we like the solarium bistro better on Symphony and very much disliked the show Cats!

My first job out of college when dial up was still commonplace, I worked at a newspaper that had a side hustle as an ISP. I had a guy call up saying he could never connect to the internet when he was talking on the phone. I had to delicately explain why that was the case.

It's not unusual for people new to cruising to learn of the double occupancy price model used in the cruise industry and they have difficulty comprehending it.
Cruising is not the same as booking a hotel room. There are a number of reasons why a cruise ship is vastly different compared to a hotel. How many hotels have multi-million dollar weekly fuel bills to propel them? How many hotels include food and entertainment in the room charge? If every cruise ship cabin were to be filled by single cruise guests the cruise line would not cover the costs of everything associated with and included in the cruise fare. A hotel room is not the same thing as a cruise cabin.
The use of the double occupancy pricing models is pretty much the standard in the cruise industry. Royal is not an outlier in their respect. It is what it is. Cruising is not an entitlement. If you don't agree with their pricing structure the answer is simple, don't cruise.
If you still desire to cruise as a solo guest there are some ways to minimize the costs associated with cruising solo but this requires being flexible and choosing ships and sail dates that might not have been your primary choice. If this is unacceptable then by all means book a hotel room and watch whatever is on the local channels on the hotel room TV as entertainment.
I say this as someone who has sailed nearly 100 times as solo cruise guest on multiple cruise lines. I'm not trying to pick a fight over this topic, but some simple research can you help to educate on this topic.
Cruising solo is an absolute blast but it does come at a cost in most cases compared to the per person costs for a party of two sharing a cabin.
