Bakerette got a reaction from Baked Alaska in Future Cruise Credit
I called royal Caribbean and had them apply my FCC to my Odyssey Cruise on 12/12/21 and I was told that since I would have a remaining balance on my FCC and that I would be issued a new FCC with the remaining balance after my November 2021 cruise is completed that the new FCC WOULD BE VALID FOR 1 YEAR AFFER THE NEW FCC WITH THE REMAINING BALANCE IS ISSUED.

Hope that helps and is the answer that you were hopping for!

I got my first passport when i was 16 years old and my mother had filled out the papers for her passport on the same day that I Had filled out the papers for my very first passport and I only had my mother’s permission but I did not have my father’s permission, so my mother and when we applied for our passports in person my mom & I each had to bring our birth certificates when to show that we are related.

I have cruises to Phillipsburg, St.Maarten on an Oasis class ship and there was no need to tender because she fit in the dock, so Quantum class ships are smaller than the Oasis class ships and will fit in the dock @ phillipsburg, St.Maarten

They could have quoted you a cruise total price that also includes a refundable deposit and you could have quoted yourself a total cruise price that may not have included a refundable deposit and vacation protection.
Both vacation protection and Refundable deposits have an additional cost which increases the total cost of the cruise & is the cause of the price increase of your total cruise price.

Plus if you add her & she is a no show at that pier you will get to cruise by yourself in a cabin that sleeps 2. You will also get 2x points per night for cruising solo in an interior, Oceanview, or Balcony, & 3x points for sailing solo in a suite.

If you booked with a refundable deposit Or purchased travel insurance that allows you to cancel for any reason then I would either cancel the cruise or change the sailing date of the cruise until after your wife has completely recovered from the reversal surgery.

You should save the FCC emails because they contain the reservation # of the cruise that was cancelled because that is how the Royal Caribbean representative will apply the FCC to your new cruise reservation and has the same names on the new reservation and the names are the same as the names that the FCC was issued was issued under.

They do not email you when have been issued a refund back to your debit card/credit card but you will receive an email stating that your cruise & cruise planner purchases has been cancelled.
YOU WILL RECEIVE A SEPARATE EMAIL CONTAINING YOUR FCC AMOUNT & EACH PERSONS INDIVIDUAL FCC NUMBER ON THE CERTIFICATE & THE RESERVATION NUMBER FOR THE CRUISE THAT WAS CANCELLED.

The amount of the FCC depends on if you cancelled the cruise yourself after the final payment date and took the 100% FCC or Royal cancelled the cruise for you and you selected the 125% FCC. If you cancelled the cruise then the amount of the fcc would be the price of the cruise fare for each person - the taxes & fees. But if Royal cancelled the cruise then the amount of the FCC would be the price of the cruise fare - the taxes and fees + 25%

For the FCC check your email every other day and for cash refunds check your cc everyday.

I had stayed in a junior suite on Oasis in December and I was able to bypass the huge line of passengers in the customs line because there was an employee standing there directing people where to go and I said that I stayed in a suite and that is how I was able to bypass the huge mass of people in line at customs. Yes that information is correct I did have priority boarding and departure in a junior suite. When choosing your suite stateroom under more details for each of the suites RC’s website it says that JS has priority boarding and priority departure.

Bakerette got a reaction from WAAAYTOOO in FCC - Is this right?
You can call m royal and provide them with your reservation number tell them that you would like to apply the remainder of your FCC to your new cruise reservation which is exactly what I did when I made a new booking while on the phone with a Royal Caribbean representative days after I had cancelled my April 26th cruise on Harmony of the seas in an interior room for my mom $ I & about a few weeks later I got an FCC email for 878 each so Yesterday I called royal Caribbean and booked a new cruise over the phone for independence of the seas for November 2021 in a Junior suite for 2 people & after the deposit that cruise was more than the harmony cruise that I had booked online so after I had the Royal Caribbean representative apply all of the FCC & $200 deposit plus the cost for selecting the refundable deposit the remaining balance is less than $30 for my mom & I.

Immediately after I cancelled my Cruise on Harmony for later this month i was told that I would be receiving a FCC in a few weeks so I decided that I will rebook for next May on allure and I was told that when I receive the FCC in my email that I could then call Royal Caribbean & have them apply the FCC to my new cruise reservation.

the FCC’s should be issued by April 13th says On Royal Caribbean website.

Bakerette reacted to WAAAYTOOO in prices for future cruses
Wow....don’t we all wish we knew when/if prices were going up or down ?  We don’t. Nobody does. It’s all part of the game we play. There are so many factors, as Neesa said - OBC, booking incentives, resident rates.  They all have “value” so you have to consider them all in the price package.
I have so much respect for those cruise friends who are heading out this week and who decided, against all of the unknowns and scary situations to forge ahead and stay the course.  I also respect those who decided to listen to their inner alarm bells and make alternate arrangements.  That’s a very hard thing to do when you have so much time, effort, money and emotion invested. God love all of you.
Whatever each of you decides to do, good luck, have fun and be careful.

Bakerette got a reaction from raahc in prices for future cruses
Yesterday I checked the price of my cruise in April on Harmony for a Boardwalk balcony room for 2 people & the price was $2005.40, meal @ Johnny Rockets, Rock climbing lesson & soda package & $325 OBC which I got when I selected to keep the perks that originally came with the boardwalk balcony room when I booked the room 2 years ago. NOW THE PRICE OF THE SAME BALCONY ROOM IS $392 CHEAPER, SO THE PRICE OF THE EXACT SAME CRUISE & ROOM IS NOW $1,613.80. BUT if I call & ask for a price change I will loose my obc, meal @ Johnny Rockets, Rick climbing lesson, & soda package & $325 obc which means I will be loosing a value of $450 because the soda package is $62.93x2=$125.86 +$325=$450.86
