I guess what I'm having difficulty with us why people are so irate.  They knew it was a mistake and they are infuriated that it won't be honored.  I get that RC initially said they would, and that it's annoying....another reason for us to shake our heads at the IT department and how the different departments aren't talking.  But I'm not going to stop cruising royal like some people are threatening.  Good grief.  This company was immensely fair over my Cuba trip and this drink thing doesn't remotely impact my experience on the ships.  Wish people would get a little perspective.  Jane

So true. Too many people let their sense of entitlement override their common sense (if they had any to begin with).

If they cancel it can anyone really get pissed off......I mean in all reality you knew when you bought it that it was a mistake.  Hope they honor it for anyone that jumped on it but if they don't I would chalk it up to something you didnt get away with.

I think everyone knew this was a pricing mistake from the moment it was spotted, especially if you have been following drink package prices.
I bought it at the $18/day rate for a couple sailings knowing full well it was a mistake and very likely refunded. Like they say in the lotto business, cant win if you don't play!

As soon as I saw it I recognized it as a mistake.  Possibly a summer intern mistook Refreshment package for Deluxe and set this all in motion.  
I don't really know what consumer laws apply in Florida but I fully expect this clear mistake to be corrected (cancelled and refunded) and have no intention of squealing about it when they do.   
Sure, of course I wish they wouldn't cancel them but I'll have no problem if they do.

They did this to me when they applied OBC via MYVEGAS as well as the shareholder benefit OBC.  They initially applied it then said they made a mistake and took it away.  
 
If you read the terms they reserve the right to cancel for pricing errors, just like most any website out there.

Yes, likely... My wife asked RC customer service a couple of weeks ago (RCI Facebook page via Instant Message) and they stated late summer/early fall for the Summer 2021 schedule to be released (at least Caribbean). We had asked the same question last month (in Next Cruise) while on Allure and they told us the same thing.
We were looking originally to book Harmony in MAY 2021, but decided to book it in APR 2021 since we liked the price and itinerary. If a more attractive cruise opens up in MAY for Harmony, we'll just make the switch (not sure if we technically have to cancel/rebook or if they can just move the reservation/refundable deposit to the new sail date... cross that bridge if necessary!). 661 days to go! LOL!

That group is sooo good. I don't think they ever took more than 10 minutes to reply and they've always given us accurate information. I usually message if it's for something that customer service doesn't needs to do.

I agree... only call if you need to make some sort of adjustment (cruise fare if you don't have a TA, Cruise Planner issues)... Facebook IM for any other general questions (after asking here first!).

Typically we get the first batch of new releases at the end of the year. November time frame.

Still makes me scratch my head that they can rent out the entire boat and then turn around and tell people who have already paid "here's $100, enjoy". Ridiculous.

My first cruise was before Disney Lines started and the family did a combo 4 days at Disney and 3 nights on the Big Red Boat. Had a blast. Very informal and there was a midnight buffet one night and a chocolate midnight presentation on another night. Most memorable part was finding my 15 year old daughter at the pool bar drinking an alcohol  Strawberry Daquiri with a crew member. Yes I did create a scene!!! ?

LOL Im always looking at stuff everyday and going over lists with my wife...She might strangle me before we even leave. LOL
