  1. Dad is just moving somewhere that he can root for a winning NFL team! He doesn't care if you invite him to cruise with you or not.
  2. This is why it's good to have a receipt in hand. You were told YOU didn't need a receipt but there is one associated with the account. Should have insisted on a copy.
  3. This hits the nail on the head. For just me, 2 inside trips would be great as I only spend about 30 minutes a day awake in the cabin. For my wife, the balcony is a must so if I want to travel with her the answer is 1 balcony.
  4. Your status here is based on posting history. Simply join in on the conversations regularly and you'll soon see that status change.
  5. The same thing happens if you try to book MTD within 30 minutes of the scheduled end of an excursion - the system thinks an excursion ending at 6:30 and dinner starting at 7:00 are overlapping.
  6. Well thanks for jinxing us and almost certainly slowing it back down, @Zurc!
  7. Hard to say what that percentage really means. On an interior cabin for a May sailing, which by definition would be 100% obstructed, the receipt shows it as 0% obstructed view.
  8. We have experience with our kids, nieces/nephew, and grandkids. The kids who DON'T have lots of time in day care or other similar arrangements tend to love the program and those who DO have day care, etc. do not enjoy it as much. That being said - YMMV.
  9. If you "login" from this screen, it will likely take you to a new login screen where you have to enter the information again. I've seen that twice in the last few days.
  10. She only takes one on any given cruise.
  11. Online, the only option to move a package from one individual to another is to cancel one and purchase the other. As @joshvcnoted, the only way to do a direct switch would be to find a phone representative who is willing to do the work.
  12. And make sure it's Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee - NOT Jamaican Blue Mountain Blend (only requires 10% to be JBM)
  13. The $0 option wasn't available for May sailing on Grandeur this morning. MDR it is.
  14. The pullout sofa is a bigger bed than the twins - it's not quite a queen but...
  15. Grandeur in May is still a go for us. Just made the final payment.
  16. Hatin' on New York isn't hatin' on New Jersey - they hate on each other more than others hate on either of them.
  17. $50 each is worth up to 30 minutes of effort in making the change.
  18. A cell phone that's set to not go completely dark serves the same purpose.
  19. Gibbs Hill Lighthouse (climb the stairs to the top) is a great place to visit for the view. At the dockyard there is a miniature golf course unlike any other I've ever found - Bermuda Fun Golf. First six holes are scale replicas of holes from courses in Bermuda, next six are famous holes from the US (like the 12th at Pebble Beach), and the final six are well-known holes from Scotland (like the Road Hole at St. Andrew's). Challenging and fun with great ocean views along the way. In St. George's there is a museum related to the US Civil War.
  20. If you're going to Izumi, you're getting much better food than the lobster they make such a big deal about.
  21. Appears to be a close-in sailing phenomenon. We haven't gotten anything by text of email for our May sailing.
  22. While the pink cake they call "red velvet" is reasonably tasty, it is NOT Red Velvet Cake. Not enough buttermilk or cocoa in their recipe, IMO.
  23. I maxed out at three appetizers, two salads, both soups (when they still offered a hot and a cold each night), three entrees, and five desserts. Ate every bite. More typical for me now is two appetizers, a soup or salad, two entrees, and skip dessert because those have gone downhill in recent years.
  24. On our last cruise we all went to dinner in what we wore at boarding - all in shorts and a sleeveless top for one member of the party.
  25. Definitely a case of "usually" there before it's time to get ready for dinner, but on our last cruise we didn't get ANY bags until after dinner (and one of them came at 10:00 p.m. And type of cabin doesn't seem to matter - the earliest we ever had our bags was an oceanview cabin and the late time was a suite.
