  2. Sorry but it makes absolutely no sense that the staff cannot ask someone to comply with mask protocols unless another passenger complains first. That’s ludicrous. You are not, nor is any passenger, the mask police.
  3. Given the line for not having to wear a mask is 2, how did you know how old the child was? Frankly I am getting a rather snooty vibe from your post. Perhaps I am reading it wrong.

  7. Posted on the other cruise board that the concierge is not making even dining reservations in advance for suites currently. The pre cruise letter is a welcome & introduction only? Any experience with this?
  8. Cortrans or Cruise Control Transportation both get excellent reviews. We have used Cortrans and the service worked very well. Both also pick up from MCO area hotels. We will fly in and take the (Marriott off Semoran ? Blvd) hotel shuttle. Lots of bars & restaurants in safe easy walking distance. Complementary breakfast in the AM and the port shuttle picks us up at the hotel. Many more hotel choices in various price ranges there and I’m not hanging out at the airport all evening.
  9. Your prepaid gratuities have nothing to do with the drink package. Those do not go to the bar staff. When you purchase the drink package, you will be charged 18% on the price. If you pay as you go for drinks, 18% will be added to each drink.
  10. Got a spacious balcony for hubby, 10 year old grandson and myself. It was anything but. So cramped I wouldn’t even let the room steward pull out the sofa bed. Never again!
  11. No harm in TRYING. Just go in with low expectations. It may work one night & not the next. If you are polite and they can accommodate you, they will.

  16. I would think 2 months out, they’re PROBABLY accurate. But menus can and do change even when things are “normal” so be flexible if you can.

  19. Although I invariably find price drops before my MEI TA, she is quick to get it taken care of for me. Today for instance, found an added military discount for my Explorer cruise in October 2022. Saved $579. Mindful of the several hour time zone difference, Emily got back to me with the new invoice very quickly.
  20. On CC, several posts about not getting a refund for cancelled cruises from last year. No personal experience but many over there are very dissatisfied with them.
  21. Coffee/pastries room service is complementary. You should however tip the person delivering it. I always keep small bills near the door for this.
  22. Nice I can get an American breakfast instead of (in lieu of) Covid? Sounds good to me!
