Some lines do this already.  I have heard from others that Holland America does...

you are correct in that we spend a lot of hard earned money to go on vacation, but i wonder what those who complain would do if they came down with a slight cough or runny nose?
    would they
A.... cancel trip as their slight sniffle may infect all others?
B...if already on ship quarantine themselves therefor missing out on all the entertainment and various ports?
or C...  pop a few pills and get on with it simply because they have paid for a vacation and a slight cough, sniffle or runny nose isn't going to stop them even though the infection could worsen and infect others?
    my monies on the C,

If anyone is visiting Grand Cayman and wants to know, where to eat, what to do, the better beaches. I am here for you as I #livewhereyouvisit lol. I can recommend some places for the best bang for your buck. So if you're not sure what to do yet or just plan to try something local I should be able to recommend a few things :).

This is as laughable as paying for the cup cake decorating class...or the MDR cookbook.
Looks like our sailings on the Allure have the 'free' option and the insider 'watch your wallet' version of Mama Mia!. Unfortunately...I am being forced to go...only because my wife is a massive ABBA fan. Will need to bring my sunglasses so she can't see my eyes closed whilst napping.

When I was a kid we had a game called 'KerPlunk".  The object was to remove sticks without the whole bundle of marbles crashing down.
This is how they have presented the bacon mound in the Windjammer.  Try to pull out just one piece and you'll likely have the whole mound crash onto your plate.
Good or bad varies betweens one's own perspective and that of your doctor's.

So, is that a bad thing? I, personally, do not think so. May piss off the folks behind you in the bacon line, but hey, more bacon will come out from the kitchen.....evntually.

Heh, it would be about an hour's drive from NYC for either of the places I'm referring to:
Tiff's, 23 Route 23 South, Pequannock, NJ (tiffs23.com) or the sister (and original) restaurant: Tiffany's, 73 Route 46 West, Pine Brook, NJ (tiffs46.com) If you just venture across the Hudson river into Hoboken and go down the main road, you'll find at least a few craft beer pubs. Can't speak to the quality of their burgers, though.

Oh, and both Tiff's and Tiffany's have a regularly rotating menu of microbrews on offer. All on tap, generally 30 different brews at any given time; IPAs, stouts, porters, brown ales, pilsners, witbiers, strong ales, and more. Whatever is in season and on offer from the local breweries in NY / NJ / PA

As a newbie who's first cruise is in Nov this year, i can honestly say this site has not only been a massive help but has also and maybe more importantly made the prospect of cruising less stressful. Simple things such as what time we can board ship, information regarding dining procedures or even the fact that disney is better for sailing if you want lots of sex , any question that is asked is answered in a friendly manner .
Should RC do something to help Newbie's settle in? definitely!!! Not every newbie will find or even look for this blog

I couldn't agree more ..... this site, and the people within it (along with Matt's blog), made our first cruise back in '16 so much easier and less stressful.  By the time we boarded, I felt like a seasoned cruiser.  I "Tip My Hat" to all of you.  As for there being a "First Time Cruiser Seminar" --- Love it ..... It doesn't need to be that long or that complicated ..... just the basics --- perhaps with testimonials and ideas from other cruisers....... Heck, they could even invite seasoned cruisers on each cruise to participate and share their stories (and reward them with a little OBC for their time).

We use the "hang it up when you take a shower" method.  Works great and it's free!

Hot shower, hang clothes, close bathroom door.  Works better with wrinkle release applied first.  Oh and BTW, real men do it too.
  22. Thanks
Ray reacted to princevaliantus in Travel steamer
Hang your wrinkled clothes in the bathroom. Turn on shower to hot and steam the wrinkles away. Just be careful when you open the bathroom door not to have steam hit the smoke detector as it will set it off..... and VOILA!!
  23. Thanks
