You know you're addicted to cruising and have problems when...
You have had multiple conversations with your children (who are only 9, 11) that the long range plans in life are for them to get a great paying job and move south to Florida so that you can follow them and retire there. Then you will not have to endure anymore Canadian winters and can cruise all you want because the kids have great paying jobs.  And you tell them further that since you have served them all these years, they can save and put me on Star class   And they actually know what star class means!
And you know you have problems when....
Older daughter responds back with, "But Florida isn't that safe because of hurricanes."  And your response is, "It's ok.  Just think of all the cruises we could do."

My slightly modified version: 
You tell yourself you are going to start a diet after your last cruise Keep on cruising and there is no last cruise 

Room on my cruise card?? LOL! If I even think about another booking, divorce city!! I for one would love to cruise with you and @twangster 

I think you are correct.  My primary purpose was medical and emergency transportation coverage.  The cancelation coverage secondary but nice to have something.   We each have different reasons for purchasing insurance and no one policy can satisfy everyone's needs.  

Lower Slower Delaware, great place to retire to unless you get a blizzard in Rehoboth and a foot of snow and 7 degrees, but this is unusual! No State Tax either, very low property tax. Drive to NY 4 hours, or Baltimore 2 hours, fabulous beaches, restaurants, and parks! PhL, BWI airports 2 hours away too!

Amen to that! But, I'm guessing that Matt has a very high fence/wall around his house with a sand bagged machine gun nest perched high above with 360 degree coverage. That way he can enjoy piece of mind, quiet and solitude from the masses of RC cruisers wanting to be his bff and garner valuable insider cruise info. that he doesn't share with the rest of us here. But then again, now that you have let the cat out of the bag he may put in another fighting position or two!

I'm guessing next door to @Matt would be the best place to live in Florida from a cruise perspective. :)

Pretty much all my life, I was fed the whole "NJ and NY suck" thanks to Baretta and Kojak, etc.  Nothin but bums, winos, hookers, and litter-filled streets.  
 
Man, was I dumb.  Get away from the city and NJ is beautiful.  I saw more different types of animals in NJ during my couple of days there than I've ever seen here.
 
And NYC blew my mind.  We stayed in Weehauken, and took the ferry over to the city and it was wonderful!   
 
Very good people up there, too.  More like "Friends" than "Jersey Shore".

OMG, I know! and was thinking of you with airfare all the time with the kids! My gosh, a small fortune!!  I think as cruise snobs we really need to win that lottery!! LOL

LOL!!! I have my wish list complete, prepaid all gratuities. However, I'm still holding out for a Sept 2019 sailing possibly if I win the lottery!!

When we took our first cruise, on Freedom, I was confronted with just how massive the responsibility is for the Captain and his crew to keep his passengers safe, regardless of situation.
 
So, from then on, I've added ship captains, pilots, train and bus drivers to my prayers.  Really, anyone how is responsible for the well-being of another life.
