We’re on that cruise as well!! Never been on Celebrity before, but booked Beyond for Thanksgiving’s in 22/23 and Easter’s in 23/24! Along with our son who will be 11 right before the first one. Also staying in Sky Suites. Can’t wait to try out Celebrity and Beyond!!!Have a great time! You will be a pro at the suite life before we board. lol This is our first Celebrity cruise, and if life goes as we hope it will, our last vacation of the 'working years' before an early retirement at the end of 2023. See you in the Retreat!

IF you treat your partner’s booking as a no-show at the dock, you can still go for the price that was paid. If your partner cancels, your booking will reprice. I believe port charges will be refunded if a no-show at the dock. If I’m wrong about the port charges, please someone correct me.

If you are in Sky class they don't have the L'Occitane products it's some economy size body wash that's smells like it's for men and shampoo and conditioner. Bring your own stuff.
If you are talking about the Malin & Goetz products they changed to, I prefer them.

If I have to produce 1 day old antigen test results to get off the ship I'm not getting off. I really like to chill on the last day of a cruise anyway.
I feel the same way. We will stay on the ship if Canada is requiring additional testing. It would be nice to see Victoria, but no loss here.
My husband is half-Canadian, courtesy of his parents border romance. He has Canadian relatives that have stayed in the US for months to get some relief from the hoops the Canadian govt makes them jump thru.

Seattle round-trip Alaska cruises that meet the PVSA by stopping in Victoria would require tests for everyone who will get off the ship unless they change the itinerary to start with a stop in Victoria rather than that being the last port (short overnight hop to Seattle for disembarkation).
AND it would require all passengers to have a molecular test pre-cruise, since if the antigen testing is 2 days out from boarding, the antigen test wouldn't be accepted since it is more than one day before arriving in Canada.

I really hope Congress gets off their butts and passes this extension to bypass Canada. Having Canada hold the entire season hostage based on the whims of their government is ridiculous. #CovidFatigueHere

I’d like to think that would help but unfortunately trying to rationalize with the Canadian government is like trying to rationalize with a toddler. Don’t come at them with facts or common sense, it just confuses them
Unfortunately, government works the same way here too.

I still have no idea why they hide sold out cruises. You'd think they'd show them as sold out to say "see what you missed?"
Great publicity gimmick! I agree.

The worst tried to ask RC and they hung up on me
Most of the reps that answer the phone are using the internet for their calls. Many connections are lousy, imo. I suggest trying again. Also tell them if the connection is bad. Sometimes they can improve the connection.

The only expensive jewelry I wear is my wedding band and engagement ring. Those are always on except when asleep. I wear mostly costume jewelry, and an Apple Watch. That's about it. I don't buy really expensive clothing or expensive purses. I don't buy cheap clothing/purses, but nothing to steal here except my wedding set. I've never worried about theft on the cruise, just take the precautions I normally do. The safe holds our passports, our cash for tips, and our electronic devices. We keep it simple.

Canada is requiring 100% of those ages 12 years and older to be vaccinated.
See section 7.2b under the cruise ship section
We are sailing AK this year, and now am glad I didn't book a NE cruise for later in the fall. The testing requirement continues to be over the top, but then Canada has been over the top for some time now, regarding Covid.

Have you checked your online account at RCI? I suggest logging in there and checking your cabin number, also check the app.
And it wouldn’t hurt to check your junk email folder too.

That’s a bummer, especially since the markup on those bottles is so huge. Maybe a supply chain issue? And the profit on a glass is greater than the profit on a bottle.

I believe the answer is that would be available only in a Star Suite. As twangster mentioned, room service only includes regular coffee.

I understand that concierge will make dining reservations before we board. I’m on Harmony next week. I haven’t received an email and I have checked junk folder. Should I reach out to them? If so, does anyone have an email?
We receive our emails typically 7-10 days out from the sailing. If you are sailing next Sunday, you could receive the email today.
Don’t know what the email is, but it is probably a variation of the one we received from Oasis:OA_Concierge02@rccl.com and OA_Concierge01@rccl.com
Just replace the Harmony acronym with the OA.

Apparently only RCC is funding this Blog. Only nice stories approved. Way to go Matt!
Apparently you joined only to complain and haven’t read some other threads here. People do share here. I suggest you look around.
That said, many of us have had issues with the accounting end of things. And not just with RCI. I get that you are frustrated, as I have been at times, but I wouldn’t toss away good money out of frustration. I hope you get it worked out without sacrificing that much money.

Well phooey. We knew it was coming, but the alternative offered for the same week is....lacking to say the least. Guess I need to finalize a cruise on another ship, or maybe plan something for a land vacation. My husband will be so sad. He was so excited. Ah well.
