  1. If she's 18, she's an adult (legally), so no need for that kind of extra documentation.
  2. Many of the promotions available to US residents are also available to Canadians.
  3. Many of these questions may not be answerable until the refurbishment work is complete.
  4. Yes, easier to change names than add someone to a reservation. Of course, when you make the change is likely the biggest issue (i.e. don't do it a day or two before the cruise)
  5. Just like the pirate code, they are more suggestions than anything
  6. No plans have been announced yet as to what changes are coming to Adventure of the Seas, but I'd guess it should be similar to what other Voyager class ships received in their refurbishments. Almost all of them got a FlowRider, so it stands to reason a FlowRider coming to Adventure of the Seas is likely. We will have to wait and see for the official word.
  7. I asked at 150 Central Park about embarkation day specials back in February and they told me no. The embarkation day specials in general are up to the restaurant. Some restaurants on certain ships offer it more regularly than others.
  8. This is correct. Unless you are on a Quantum-class ship, then you can get those sandwiches at Cafe @ 270. Nonetheless, Jeff, you are out of luck unfortunately. Feel free to substitute the so-bad-its-good pizza from Sorrentos instead.
  9. Correct. Unless you are sailing on Anthem of the Seas, where everything is electronic.
  10. I believe so, but not 100% certain. Good point. If you have kids and are booking specialty dining, do not book them on the reservation. Leave them off and then show up with the children, that way you are not going to have to get the price adjusted.
  11. Welcome to the boards, Jeff!
  12. It may be added before that, but no promises.
  13. You may find the discussion in this post useful: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php/topic/1784-abc-or-dominica-barbados-grenada/
  14. Another vote for Sheraton Old San Juan. Look at prices, but you can't beat its location. If you stay outside of Old San Juan, you will definitely need a rental car. Taxi could work, but it depends on how much traveling you are doing. The great thing about a hotel in Old San Juan is you don't need a car/taxi to explore this area.
  15. All RC ships have Internet. Freedom is about to get Voom internet, which is the super high speed option. It should be added by May.
  16. Welcome, Sue! Thanks for watching the Periscopes and for joining us here on the boards. We have a great community that love to talk RC! Welcome Della and Mark! Adventure is a great ship. So glad you are here and thanks for posting!
  17. We're both old men, trapped in slightly younger men's bodies. I'm with you on preferring the traditional dining experience.
  18. Many companies that do business in China have to deal with government restrictions. There have been numerous examples with Yahoo and Google and filtering search results out that the Chinese government does not approve of. Of course as Americans, we disapprove but at the end of the day, RC, Google and Yahoo are all about making money there.
  19. Two separate cruises. They just happen to be right after each other. No discounts usually. Just two different cruises. The only distinction is once onboard, the crew should be aware you are doing a B2B and make plans for you to have a special plan on turnaround day between the two.
  20. You can certainly ask about letting them combine, but be prepared for it not to happen. There's a variety of reasons why the age groups are the way they are. It mostly has to do with maturity levels, the age at which the programming is geared towards and ensuring all kids have a great experience. I'm a parent and of course I'd love for my 2 kids to be in the same group, but I respect what RC has set up and my kids make new friends onboard in their AO/Nursery groups and they have a great time. What I'm trying to say is, please feel free to ask but if the answer is no, be okay with it. They'll have a great time one way or the other!
