Is Royal no longer going to Key West?

We have been anxiously awaiting the release of the 2026 Caribbean itineraries. In checking yesterday and today, I see no cruises stopping at Key West.  Are they not going or am I being impatient and need to wait a bit longer for more to be released? We were really looking to take FIL there to visit Truman Little White House plus hit up CocoCay, maybe Cozumel? Celebrity has 3 and 4 nighters doing KW and PDCC, but we were hoping for something a bit longer.

Thoughts?

I would suggest, and I have done it, get to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale a day or two early, rent a car, drive to the end of the road, and it will be more fulfilling than a quick cruise stop.

Our drive to Key West is one of the most memorable cruise trips...ever.

We did a 9 Nt trip to the Keys for our Honeymoon 2 years ago.  3 nights each in Key Largo, Islamorada and Key West.  Was an incredible time!

Drive to KW from FLL or Miami before your cruise it’s so much better to spend a couple days there. The drive on the overseas highway never gets old (I’ve been back and forth on the drive my entire life).

This trip is on my non-cruise bucket list.

It really is awesome and everyone should do it at least once in their lives.  There are so many great spots along the way, going sport fishing in Islamorada and doing a Sailboat Sunset Cruise in Key West were such wonderful experiences.

We went last year from Tampa on Serenade.  Did you check the Tampa itineraries?  This was a 5 night cruise that did CocoCay, too.

We were there a few months ago.  It was a Bahama's cruise on Enchantment out of Tampa with 3 ports in the Bahamas and a stop at Key West on the way back.

I hope they keep going there! Key West was one of our highlights on our last cruise! We enjoyed going to the Hemmingway house and just really liked the city overall!

Only Vision and Radiance class fit there, everything else for Royal is too big.

Celebrity does have some stops there as well.

I do not blame cruise lines for not going to Key West after they voted in November 2020 to ban almost all cruise ships and limit the number of passengers that can get off the ships.  The Governor overruled it but why go where you are not wanted.

After more research, we will be going on Celebrity.  This is a bucket list item for FIL, so we are trying to make an old guy happy.

I’m looking at a quick 3 day jaunt on Silhouette to Nassau/Key West in early January.
