Xaa
On anything you would buy. Use it in your cruise planner for pre-curise purchases even
smokeybandit
Technically you don't use obc for any specific thing. It just is a credit against the entire onboard account. If you have $50 in obc, the first $50 that gets charged to your account will be covered by that obc.
Bruin Steve
Yes, it's just a credit to your account...so, if you do nothing, they still apply it. If the OBC came from the cruise line, it's nonrefundable--IOW use it or lose it. If its from your TA, it's most likely refundable, so, if any is left at the end of your cruise, they credit it back to your account. When we cruise Celebrity or Princess and we have nonrefundable OBC and "all-inclusive" bookings (gratuities, drinks, wifi included in cruise price), we usually use it to book shore excursions. On RCCL, where our bookings are "cruise-only" but we have lots of free C&A drink vouchers, if we don't book shore excursions, it usualy gets eaten up by gratuities. If we have any left over, it usually means a T-shirt buying visit to the gift shop or a specialty restaurant dinner. Some people use it to gamble in the casino--or use the casino to "launder" the OBC into cash. Ampurp85
I always use my OBC for the casino. I usually prepay everything else and that's where mine goes. MDT127 and WAAAYTOOO 1
