J L
Hello, Heading out on Icon of the Seas March of 2024! Any suggestions of a nice place to stay the night before that has a transfer to the cruise terminal?
J L
I should clarify that we are sailing out of Miami
SpeedNoodles
It really depends on your budget. I really like the Kimpton Epic. There are some very nice hotels in the Brickell area as well. Ryan79
J L
Thanks! We would like to be close to the water if possible and a nice pool for the kiddos. Haven't sailed out of Miami in a long time.

Haven't sailed out of Miami in a long time. The Kimpton Epic overlooks the Miami River where it meets Biscayne Bay - and the pool area is AMAZING. Ryan79
I’m going to second the Kimpton Epic. It’s an amazing hotel with amazing views. SpeedNoodles

KevinJ
We're on the March 9th sailing. We've found that it's cheaper for us to fly into FLL instead of Miami. So we'll get a hotel there and use SAS transport to get to the cruise port the next morning. I'm doing this at the end of the moth for our Harmony cruise so will have already had an experience. J L
Would love to hear about your hotel choice in Ft L. and how it went. We may end up flying in there as well, so that's helpful. Thanks!
KevinJ
we're staying at Four Points by Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port. We've staying there before when we went out of Port Everglades, and it was listed as one of the Hotels that SAS Transport picks up at to get to port of Miami. Also I use credit card points for the stay so it doesn't cost me. I've just booked our hotel in Barcelona for our transatlantic. Wow, I haven't actually paid for a hotel in almost 20 years, talk about sticker shock. Especially staying in a nice hotel near the center of things.
