Some folks order an extra spare birth certificate in case the original is submitted for the passport. Check with Royal for the specific cruise itinerary you have chosen, but the typical Florida/Texas cruise round-trip to the Caribbean is no problem. Closed loop cruises are cruises that embark & disembark @ the same US cruise terminal. You can use birth certificates but they need to be an original or raised sealed copy.
