Gadget Hackwrench
This is the land that Royal Caribbean is going to develop with an agreement with the government of the Bahamas for tourists. It has angered nearby Atlantis resort but such is how partnerships and competition in the marketplace works. What do you think of the idea of making Nassau a more desirable port with this new resort? SmoothJ24
I liked that little strip of land and personally I like to leave nature the way it is. However in the end its about money and income for Bahamas.

Actually, they aren't developing out by the lighthouse. That area will stay as is. The rough area that will become the Royal Beach Club is between the red lines on this image: There's concept drawings in this recent blog: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2023/03/08/royal-caribbeans-beach-club-nassau-will-open-2025?fbclid=IwAR1OTGO24EFiLQZ0H4x1voYAjmiDI3hV85QdCTZ5nHQN6v1D0THWnSdMhrI JohnK6404
wordell1
Atlantis has been ripping off cruise passengers for years with outrageous day fees. I'm sure they are upset. RestingBird, SweetPea, Vancity Cruiser and 1 other
teddy
That dilapidated villa looking place you can see when at the outer pier has always intrigued me.

This is this Mick Jagger's old place. Now owned by a slumlord who does not have Keep Bahamas Beautiful in his heart. teddy and WAAAYTOOO 1

As exposed and beat up as it is, we always like seeing it. bobroo
bobroo
I think this has been vacant for what; 3 years now? We can all take away an important lesson on just how expensive and never ending the upkeep is on Caribbean beach front properties.
